Synopsis
The film stars Don McKellar as Pokey Jones, an orphaned barber in a small town near Thunder Bay, who dreams of becoming a jazz musician. One morning, Jones discovers a frozen corpse (Steve Fall) in his backyard, and soon meets Jackie Bangs (Valerie Buhagiar), a tough and mysterious roadie who claims the dead man is her brother.Actors

In the Northland town of Kaitaia in Spring 1978, nineteen-year-old Gerry Austin (Kelly Johnson) opportunistically steals a wallet accidentally dropped by a wealthy woman named Lesley Morris. In late 1890s Wyoming, Butch Cassidy (Paul Newman) is the affable, clever, talkative leader of the outlaw Hole in the Wall Gang. His closest companion is the laconic dead-shot "Sundance Kid" (Robert Redford). The two return to their hideout at Hole-in-the-Wall (Wyoming) to discover that the rest of the gang, irked at Butch's long absences, have selected Harvey Logan (Ted Cassidy) as their new leader. Harvey challenges Butch to a knife fight over the gang's leadership. Big Enos Burdett (Pat McCormick) is running for Governor of Texas against another candidate, John Coen (David Huddleston). After a figurative and literal "mudslinging" between the two, they are both confronted by the outgoing governor and given a thorough tongue-lashing. As Burdett is leaving the office he overhears the governor yelling at an assistant to take responsibility for transporting a crate of unknown content from Miami to the Republican Party convention in Dallas. Burdett then schemes to pick up the crate and deliver it to the convention. He enlists the help of Bandit (Burt Reynolds) and Cledus (Jerry Reed) to carry out the task.

Quatre amis, Didi, Dedé, Mussum et Zacarias gagnent leur vie grâce à la vente d'objets d'artisanat au bord de la route à Manaus. Des coups de feu surprennent les quatre vendeurs. Ils aperçoivent arriver de loin une voiture décapotable poursuivie par une autre voiture où à son bord, un homme tire la voiture avec son révolver. Dédé, Mussum, Zacarias et Augusto décident de poursuivre les deux voitures. Didi surprend les occupants de la voiture, ayant réussi miraculeusement à se trouver sur le toit de leur voiture. Le tireur les repère et vise Didi afin de les dissuader de les suivre. Armé son lance-pierre, Didi réplique en cassant la lunette arrière de la voiture des malfaiteurs. Au deuxième lancé, il réussit avec brio à éjecter le révolver de la main du tireur. Le chauffeur prête son révolver à son collègue mais qui sera de nouveau éjecter de sa main par l'exploit du lance-pierre de Didi.
