Home for the Holidays is a 1972 American television slasher film from ABC, directed by John Llewellyn Moxey and produced by Aaron Spelling, and starring Sally Field, Eleanor Parker, Julie Harris, Jessica Walter, and Walter Brennan. The plot focuses on a wealthy father on his deathbed who invites his four daughters home for Christmas and asks them to murder his wife. Shortly after, the girls find that their stepmother was a convicted murderess who may or may not have killed her last husband, and they begin to fall prey to a killer dressed in a yellow rain slicker.
Synopsis
The film opens in an enormous house where Benjamin Morgan, a rich dying father, is talking to his oldest daughter Alex. He thinks his second wife, Elizabeth, is trying to poison him. Alex believes him. Benjamin then sends Alex off to pick up her three sisters. While Alex is driving, she stops and asks Benjamin's doctor, Ted Lindsay, for directions. He tells her and comments on the fact that they haven't come to town since their birth mother committed suicide five years ago.Actors

In 1971, on a visit to his institutionalized grandfather, who warned 5-year-old Billy Chapman that Santa Claus punishes the naughty, his family happens to come across a man in a Santa Claus outfit seemingly having car trouble. The man - actually a criminal who has just used that disguise to rob a liquor store after he kills a man and escaped - pulls a gun and mercilessly kills Billy's father in front of him and his infant brother Ricky, then slits their mother's throat with a switch blade, leaving the children alive. Three years later, Billy and Ricky are celebrating Christmas in an orphanage run by Mother Superior, a strict disciplinarian, who persistently strikes children who misbehave and considers punishment for their wicked actions as a good thing. Sister Margaret seems to be the only one who sympathizes with the children, trying to get Billy to open up and play with the children, but they are constantly under Superior's scrutinizing eye and they regularly end up getting punished.

The story revolves around a Basque Roman Catholic priest dedicated to committing as many sins as possible (Angulo), a death metal salesman from Carabanchel (Segura), and the Italian host of a TV show on the occult (De Razza). By committing multiple sins, the priest hopes to sell his soul, so that he can be at the birth of the Antichrist and kill it before it can destroy the world. The priest and the death metal salesmen kidnap the host, so he can help them in summoning the devil. The ritual requires the blood of a virgin and while on his quest to get it, the priest accidentally kills the salesmen's mother and close friend. During the ritual, in which the main characters go on an "acid trip", the devil manifests and, not being fooled by the priests actions, he does not reveal the location of the Antichrist. The trio eventually track down the birthplace of the Antichrist. The salesman is killed by the Antichrist and the devil's minions attack and badly burn the host, but the priest is able to kill them and the Antichrist. After the events, the priest and the host become homeless drifters.

Susan Wilcox (Barbara Parkins) is a young woman who was raped by an unknown man when she was a 13-year-old. When an armoured car is robbed, in a daring daylight raid on London’s Tower Bridge, one of the gang hides the money in Barberini's Circus. William Edward "Billy" Lenz, a boy born with severe jaundice due to a liver disease, is constantly abused by his hateful mother. After murdering Billy's father and burying his body in the underground crawlspace with the help of her boyfriend, Mrs. Lenz locks Billy in the attic to prevent him from talking. Years later, she attempts to conceive a new baby but realizes that her new man is impotent. She goes up to the attic and rapes 12-year-old Billy. Nine months later, a daughter named Agnes is born and treated like a princess by Mrs. Lenz. When Agnes is eight and Christmas comes around, Billy escapes from the attic and disfigures Agnes by gouging out her eye and taunts his mother, saying "she's my family now." Billy then gruesomely kills his mother and her lover. He is caught by the police eating pieces of his mother's flesh, and sent to a mental asylum.
