Synopsis
A coach is coming, and moves out of the frame at one side of the field of view. Soon after, an approaching car veers off course and moves straight to the viewer (the camera). As it approaches, the occupants wave frantically, hoping to stave off the impending collision. At the moment the car fills the entire frame the film cuts to title cards that bear the text "Oh, mother will be pleased".Actors

Une rue calme à l’arrière d’une rangée de maisons. Au fond, une automobile s’engage dans la rue et s’approche de la caméra selon la diagonale du champ. Il s’agit d’un phaéton (véhicule découvert) avec un conducteur et trois dames portant chapeau et crinoline. Elles sont joyeuses et agitent leur écharpe. Arrivé à notre hauteur, l’engin explose (par le trucage de l’arrêt de caméra et ne restent plus qu’une épaisse fumée et quelques débris mécaniques. Un bobby (policier en uniforme) entre dans le champ de la caméra et s’approche pour inspecter le lieu de l’explosion. Il ouvre une lunette d’approche et scrute le ciel au-dessus de sa tête. Soudain, il s’enfuit. Tout ce qui reste des passagères tombe sur la chaussée : robes et membres épars.

La caméra filme l'entrée d'un tunnel, d'où jaillit un train à vapeur. La caméra se met à avancer elle-même sur la seconde voie, entrant dans le tunnel et dans le noir. Dans un compartiment de 1 classe, un homme lit son journal et fume le cigare. Devant lui, une voyageuse lit une revue. Elle lève le regard vers son voisin qui se penche et la chatouille sous le menton. Charmée, elle rit et il redouble de séduction. Il se débarrasse du journal, se lève et enlève son encombrant chapeau haut de forme. Il dépose un rapide baiser sur la bouche de la jeune dame qui pouffe de rire tandis qu'il se rassied et recoiffe son chapeau. Les rires de sa voisine l'encouragent. Il se lève de nouveau, pose sa coiffe sur la banquette et va embrasser une nouvelle fois la dame, puis se rassied, aplatissant son chapeau qu'il remet aussitôt en forme. Les deux voyageurs se replongent alors dans leur lecture. La caméra sort du tunnel.

On a quiet suburban road a motor car appears from around a corner in the distance. Two male pedestrians cross the road in front of the vehicle. As the car approaches it is seen to contain a male driver and three high-spirited female passengers waving handkerchiefs towards the camera. The car reaches the foreground and explodes without warning, leaving a smouldering pile of twisted wreckage. A policeman (played by Hepworth himself) happens to be passing, takes out a telescope and looks up to the sky. After a lapse of several seconds he has to dodge out of the way as torsos and severed limbs (but no heads) start to rain down around him. Unperturbed, the helpful policeman takes out his notebook and begins the task of reassembling the assorted body parts, still neatly clothed, into identifiable human beings, conscientiously making notes as he goes.

Shortly after the events of the previous film, Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly), a former girlfriend and accomplice of serial killer Charles Lee Ray (voice of Brad Dourif), acquires the remains of Chucky from a police evidence locker after bribing and then murdering a police officer with access to the locker. Assuming that Ray's soul still inhabits the doll, Tiffany takes it back to her place. The film begins with an urban couple driving through the countryside in what looks like a cinema advertisement. The scene comes to a halt with a fatal accident. The rural Australian town of Paris arranges fatal accidents to visitors driving through. Townspeople collect items from the luggage of the deceased passengers whilst survivors are taken to the local hospital where they are given lobotomies with power tools and kept as "veggies" for medical experiments by the earnest town surgeon. The young men of the town salvage and modify the wrecked vehicles into a variety of strange-looking cars designed for destruction.

The film opens with a news report on "Natas", a strange drug which has been reported to induce zombie-like effects in those who consume it. The film then fast forwards in time, to an Earth mostly inhabited by zombies. The Hunter (Martin Copping) drives along a post-apocalyptic wasteland and meets a hostile "Death Angel". The zombie is reduced to purplish goo after Hunter rams his car at it. He proceeds to stop at a deserted petrol station to fill his car's empty gas tank. Hunter enters the station's convenience store to check out any available supplies, but is ambushed by invading zombies. He eliminates them all after a gory battle and downs his sorrows by gulping a bottle of tequila. It is revealed that Hunter's daughter and wife have both died. Resuming his journey, Hunter unknowingly ventures into the turf of the survivors, who have not been infected by Natas. Thinking Hunter is a zombie, an unknown assailant takes a shot at him. Hunter survives nevertheless and is greeted by survivor Fast Lane Debbie (Jade Regier) upon regaining consciousness.

Charlie Sykes and Rachel Clark are a young all-American couple that decide to run away and elope in Las Vegas. On the road to Vegas, they ignore the warning of a local gas station attendant named Sam. They take an abandoned backroad where Rachel is kidnapped by a zombie Hell Cop who takes her to hell. Charlie goes back to Sam, and Sam explains what the Hellcop is and how to save her. Sam then gives Charlie a shotgun with special ammo and a car that holds a special attribute. On the highway, Charlie meets other dead people that live in Hell and even a motorcycle gang. On the road, he meets a mechanic named Beezle, with his young apprentice. Beezle gives him tips on how to save his girlfriend and even brings him back to life. After Charlie rescues Rachel, Beezle reveals himself to be Satan and proposes a deal to let them, and his apprentice, go free if they can defeat the Hell Cop in a race to the portal that connects Earth and the backroads of Hell.
