Add to a movie listKids World is a 2001 childrens film written by Michael Lach and directed by Dale G. Bradley. Though the story is set in Oregon, the project was filmed in Auckland, New Zealand. The film had limited release in the US in 2001, before its New Zealand release in 2002. In the United Kingdom its DVD title was Honey, the Kids Rule the World. In 2007 it had DVD release under that title by Third Millennium Distribution and in 2008 by Boulevard Entertainment. It aired in 2007 in Romania on Kanal D television.
Synopsis
12 year old Ryan Mitchell (Blake Foster) and his friends Stu (Anton Tennet) and Twinkie (Michael Purvis) are tired of being told what to do. They have to do their homework, eat their vegetables, wear a coat when they go outside, wear a helmet when they ride their skateboards, and aren't allowed to come and go as they please like their older brothers and sisters. One day, Ryan and his pals find an ancient Native American burial ground, where they discover a magical wishing glass. Using the glass, Ryan wishes that all the grown-ups and teenagers in the world would simply disappear—and suddenly, his wish comes true! It's party time for Ryan and all his friends, until they discover there's a fly in the ointment—the moment anyone turns 13, they suddenly vanish!Actors

Casper Galloway, an overly cautious boy, has become afraid of anything dangerous since the day his father died at the Occult Barn, his grandfather's shop. When his grandfather Horus receives a lifetime achievement award, Casper mans the shop so Horus can collect the trophy. Horus warns "no-one is to come within spit distance" of an urn kept on a high shelf topped with a skull; Horus's father imprisoned a malevolent spirit inside the urn and it will curse the person that lets it out. The girl Casper has a crush on visits and he tries impressing her with a free purchase for loyal patronage to the Occult Barn. However, more of their friends arrive. Casper takes down the urn to show off to the girl and clumsily drops it. Casper tries warning them of the danger, but they laugh at him. Skeptical, they invent a curse: anyone with whom they make eye contact after 10pm (since Midnight is cliche) kills themselves and comes back as a "zemon", a zombie possessed by the evil spirit. The zemons spread their infection through hickeys rather than bites, and those infected kill themselves and become zemons. They are given till morning to undue the curse. However, they were too stupid to come up with an easy way to break the curse.

In 1947, cartoon characters are commonly referred to as "toons" and most work as paid actors in Hollywood. They frequently interact with humans and animals, and dwell in the animated district of Toontown, owned by businessman Marvin Acme. Amongst the toon stars is Roger Rabbit, who does comedy shorts with Baby Herman, but as of late his performances are poor. Meanwhile, R.K. Maroon, Roger’s employer and head of Maroon Studios, hires private detective Eddie Valiant to investigate rumors that Roger’s wife Jessica Rabbit is having an extramarital affair. Eddie himself is an alcoholic, following the murder of his brother Teddy at the hands of a toon. Going to the Ink & Paint Club, Eddie at first believes that Jessica is a rabbit (due to her last name), but surprised when he sees that she's a very attractive woman. He later attempts and manages to snap photographs of Marvin Acme playing patty cake with Jessica, showing them to Maroon and a distraught Roger who vows he and his wife will be happy, before running off.

Pessimistic Richard Tyler (Macaulay Culkin) lives life based on statistics and fears everything. His exasperated parents (Ed Begley, Jr. and Mel Harris) have tried multiple ways to build up the courage of their son, but to little success. Richard is sent to buy a bag of nails for building a treehouse. However, Richard gets caught in a harsh thunderstorm and takes shelter in a library. He meets Mr. Dewey (Christopher Lloyd), an eccentric librarian who gives him a library card, despite Richard's protests he doesn't want a book, since he's only there to escape the storm. Searching for a phone, Richard finds a large rotunda painted with famous literary characters. He slips on some water dripping from his coat and falls down, knocking himself out. Richard awakens to find the rotunda art melting, which washes over him and the library, turning them into illustrations.
