Synopsis
The film portrays the turbulent life of the “Great Z”, an engine driver on the Abidjan - Ouagadougou line for twenty years. He was laid off in 1995 by the National Railways of Burkina Faso following the privatization imposed by the World Bank. A seasoned reveler and a hedonist to the bone, he suddenly finds himself with no reason to live. He has lost everything and lives a gloomy life while waiting for his retirement pension. Tormented and employing a brutal and violent vocabulary, he emphatically describes his problems, his hatreds and his hopes.Comments

The film follows the preparation behind the service, as well as focusing on one particular journey. The 'star' of the film is the Gresley A4 60017 Silver Fox, although the film makes a point of featuring many railway employees, for example the maintenance men, the driver and fireman and the station master at Waverley Station "who has a very high sense of occasion". The train completes its journey in its timetabled 6hrs 30mins.

Le documentaire suit l’artiste Friedensreich Hundertwasser et présente sa manière de travailler, ses partis pris artistiques et ses convictions personnelles. Au début du film, Hundertwasser est étendu sur un bloc de glace, près de son moulin dans la région de Waldviertel, à Vienne. De l’eau coule sous la glace et Hundertwasser confie être fasciné par cet élément de la nature. Il s’est d’ailleurs acheté un bateau trois années auparavant et l’a baptisé Regentag. Son souhait est de se retirer sur l’eau à bord de ce bateau.
