Synopsis
Ma and Pa Kettle have lived in a broken-down ramshackle farmhouse for twenty-five years in rural Cape Flattery, Washington. The Kettles' arch-nemesis, Birdie Hicks, organizes a town council meeting to condemn the Kettles' "garbage dump" farm.Actors

After winning the house-of-the-future Ma and Pa are content. Until they receive a notice stating that they have won a contest from the Bubble-Ola Company, and the prize - a free all-paid trip to New York City. Ma tells Pa that they can't go because they have no one to look out for the kids. Meanwhile, famous bank robber Shotgun Munger crashes and drives into the Kettle Farm. Pa comes along and greets him, after a long conversation Munger tells Pa that he can stay and watch over the kids (he was trying to hide from the police). So, Ma and Pa Kettle go to New York City and get in contact with their daughter-in-law Kim and their son Tom.

It tells the story of a young married couple who become chicken farmers. Betty follows her husband Bob to the countryside where his dream is to be a successful chicken farmer. Elmer Butts quitte sa petite ville de l'Arizona pour New York où il s'est inscrit au radio-crochet du colonel Crow. Le chef scout Elmer Brown perd son cœur à cause de la jolie carhop qui travaille dans un restaurant avec service au volant. Son fiancé policier vient compliquer ses désirs romantiques.
