M. Kumar, Shobraj and Vinod Rajan play major roles and Malavika appears in an item number. The film score and soundtrack were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film was released on 8 November 2007 during Diwali and is considered a box office bomb. However, the film was dubbed into Telugu later and released as Dheera in 2009.
Synopsis
Vicky (Jeevan) is the eldest son of a Railway officer, is a perpetual loser in whatever he does and is looked down by other family members. One day he meets Shivani (Kamna Jethmalani), daughter of a rich textile tycoon, who has brought all the luck to her father, with her Midas touch!Actors

Masi (Nakul) is an orphan living in a lower middle class colony. Vallavan (Silambarasan) is a happy-go-lucky college student with a set of friends. Bala (Santhanam) & Suji (Sandhya) are two of Vallavan's friends. After a decade of research, the scientist Dr. Vaseegaran creates a sophisticated android robot with the help of his assistants, Siva and Ravi, in order to commission it into the Indian Army. He introduces the robot, named Chitti, at a robotics conference in Chennai. Chitti helps Sana, Vaseegaran's medical student girlfriend, cheat in her examination, then saves her from being assaulted by a group of thugs. Vichu (Silambarasan) is a quiet youngster brought up by the village priest (Nedumudi Venu) and his maternal grandfather. Owing to specific reasons, the caring elder has purposefully toned down (Simbu uses his eyes to convey the inner quietude of Vichu) the young boy's emotional quotient and has taught him a peculiar art of living. The film has anti-Brahmin themes and follows many films of its class in projecting the Brahmin girls and aunts in a raunchy yet funny way.
