Manoj Kadampoothramadam Jayan (born 15 March 1966) is an Indian actor popularly knows as Manoj K Jayan who predominantly acts in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu films. Manoj has won three Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actor, respectively for his portrayals of Hariharan's 'Kuttan Thampuran' in Sargam (1992), 'Thalakkal Chandu' in Pazhassi Raja (2009) and 'Kunjiraman' in Farook Abdul Rahiman's Kaliyachan. His most critically acclaimed characters are "Kuttan Thampuran" (Sargam), "Digambaran" (Anandabhadram), "Thalakkal Chandu" (Pazhassi Raja).

Biography

He is born to Sruthiyil K.G. Jayan (of famous Jaya-Vijayan pair) and V.K. Sarojini at Kottayam on 1966. He has a brother Biju. He had his primary education from Mount High School and preuniversity degree from Government college, Nattika. Then he joined at Southern Film Institute, Trivandrum to learn acting but discontinued later.

Manoj married film actress Urvashi on 11 October 2000 which ended in divorce in late 2008. They have a daughter Tejalakshmi born in 2001. Later he married Asha on 3 March 2011, and they have a son Amrit born on 16 January 2013.

A tailor falls in love with the girl next door, Sumathi. But her father, a log breaker, decides to marry her off to an NRI. But the royal family didn't accept their love and so they tried to run away from that palace. Several royal soldiers chased Arathi and Sam down through a waterfall. They try to escap by a boat, Sam tells Arathi to stay on the boat till he unhooks it.But when he unhooks the boat The soldiers came so he couldn't help Arathi to escape from the boat. But the soldiers didn't help Arathi, this makes jojy think that someone in the palace doesn't want Arathi to live.
