Madame Aema 9 (Hangul: 애마부인 9; RR: Aema Buin 9) is a 1993 South Korean film directed by Kim Sung-su. It was the ninth in the Madame Aema series, the longest-running film series in Korean cinema.

Synopsis
Aema is a bored housewife married to a successful, workaholic businessman. She begins an affair with Jean, a business associate of her husband's. Her husband suspects and begins tormenting Aema, while not letting on that he knows, to protect a business deal. Aema leaves her husband, but is persuaded to return after heeding advice from a friend.Madame Aema

Lulu (Louise Brooks) is the mistress of a respected, middle-aged newspaper publisher, Dr. Ludwig Schön (Fritz Kortner). One day, she is delighted when an old man, her "first patron," Schigolch (Carl Goetz), shows up at the door to her apartment. However, when Schön also arrives, she has Schigolch hide on the terrace. Schön breaks the news to Lulu that he is going to marry Charlotte von Zarnikow (Daisy D'ora), the daughter of the Minister of the Interior. Lulu tries to get him to change his mind, but when he discovers the disreputable-looking Schigolch, he leaves. Schigolch introduces Lulu to Rodrigo Quast (Krafft-Raschig), who wants her to join his new trapeze act.

Marie (Simone Signoret), a woman of considerable beauty, is distressed at her treatment by Roland, a criminal who is a part of a local syndicate. When Marie is introduced to the handsome stranger Georges, a humble carpenter, she falls in love with him instantly, much to the chagrin of Roland. When Roland's jealousy builds after a number of meetings between Marie and Georges, Roland decides to confront Georges behind a club where a number members of his syndicate watch. After Georges gains control of a knife that had been thrown between them to initiate the fight, George manages to stab Roland in the back after a brief scuffle, killing him almost instantly. When the police arrive at the scene everyone flees, including Marie, who seeks refuge away from the syndicate at a nearby village.

Pierre is a 58-year-old gay man who was a hustler in his youth. He is no longer considered desirable and now finds himself in the reverse position: He is the one paying for sex. He has trouble sleeping, has a coffee, and starts chain smoking. In the morning, he receives a visit from Marc, a young hustler. They have sex, but the joyless encounter ends quickly; Pierre has been HIV positive for 24 years and his various medications have affected his performance. A somewhat artificial looking young dandy goes to an ornate dance hall, where he finds a young woman to be his dance partner. When he faints from the exertion, a doctor is called. He discovers that the dandy is in fact an old man wearing a mask to hide his aged appearance. The doctor takes the old man home to his patient wife. She explains that her husband Ambroise used to attract the ladies who frequented the hairdresser salon where he worked, but in the space of two years, he lost his looks. He goes out in disguise in an attempt to recapture his youth.

The plot follows the story of college student Eun-shik and his efforts to impress a Junior student, Eun-hyo. Eun-shik has a habit of finding himself in somewhat awkward situations that often embarrass him and sabotage his attempts to impress Eun-hyo. After a mandatory military service of two years, Eun-shik is transferred to the National University, where he plans to major in Law. He stays with 3 other roommates; most of them are typical college freshmen who are trying to hit on girls, give a leer at girls in swimming pools, gyms, etc. Eun-hyo is an aspiring national aerobic athlete. She first noticed Eun-shik, an awkward weirdo, in the college canteen while he stared at her tightly clasped thighs protruding from her lower mini-skirt. With a mischievous intentions, she then spread her legs in a jerk, and a glimpse of her white panty made him throw his meal out of his mouth. Since then their awkward encounters follow. Although Eun-hyo sympathizes with Eun-shik's one-sided love, she eventually picked one of the hottest guy in college, Sang-ok, who is an apple of every girl eyes. While having a relationship with another aerobic athlete, Sang-ok spent one night with Eun-hyo, which leads them to accidental pregnancy stage. As a typical rich spoiled brat, he only offered money to abort the pregnancy. Dejected, Eun-hyo run away and tried to solve the problem by herself. The doctor from clinic requires her to accompany someone in charge of her situation to do the procedure. She then turned to Eun-shik for his help, who initially thought he has got a date to go out with her. After the procedure, he helped her everything; her post-operational fever, her meals, and such. He even tried to entertain lest she is upset about her recent breakup. Finally the day of national aerobic competition came. Eun-hyo managed to come to the stage in the last minute where she performed to her best. After the competition, she gave in all her toughness and mentality. She went to the restroom, cried, and got bleeding from her womb which recently got an abortion operation. Eun-shik then came in and sent her to hospital. Out of frustration and deep-seated hatred, he searched Sang-ok who initiated all of this trouble. He found Sang-ok having a good time after the competition. He told Sang-ok about Eun-hyo's recent tragedy and punched him in the face. In the end, Eun-hyo after discharged from hospital, asked Eun-shik if he still remained the same about his feeling toward her.

April Delongpre (Sherilyn Fenn) is the well-born, 21-year-old, eldest daughter of a powerful Alabama senator and heiress to an old and respectable Southern family.
