Dominic Chianese (/ˌkiːəˈnɛzɛ/; born February 24, 1931) is an American actor, singer, and musician. He is best known for his role as Corrado "Junior" Soprano on the HBO series The Sopranos, and Johnny Ola in The Godfather Part II.
En 1951, il abandonne les chantiers de maçonnerie et réussit une audition pour devenir choriste dans une opérette de Gilbert et Sullivan. Ensuite, il alterne spectacles et petits boulots pour réussir ses études d'art dramatique au Brooklyn College. Il en sort diplômé en 1961.
Il est connu pour des rôles de mafieux : au cinéma, il a été Johnny Ola dans Le Parrain 2 en 1974, et oncle Junior dans la série télévisée Les Soprano depuis 1999. À la suite de son rôle dans Le Parrain, il obtient plusieurs seconds rôles dans des films.
Depuis 2002, tous les lundis, il joue avec son groupe au restaurant Sofia's près de Times Square à New York. Son groupe, les Cement Sidewalkers, joue des chansons en napolitain et du folk américain. Thomas "Tom" Popper (Jim Carrey) is a divorced real-estate entrepreneur whose father traveled around the world during his childhood. He learns that his father has died during an adventure to Antarctica and discovers that his father's will asks for his son to be given a souvenir from his last adventure. The next week, a crate containing a gentoo penguin (Captain) shows up at his doorstep. Eventually, five more penguins arrive. Popper intends to give them away but changes his mind when his children, Janie and Billy (Madeline Carroll and Maxwell Perry Cotton), think that the animals are Billy's birthday present. That night, Popper meets with New York zookeeper Nat Jones (Clark Gregg), who asks for the penguins. Popper tries to stall him by asking him to collect the penguins another time. Jones agrees but not before warning that the conditions in Popper's apartment are not good enough to raise penguins. Popper is forced to pay the board of his apartment to keep the penguins in his apartment and lies to his arrogant neighbor Kent (David Krumholtz) about there being no animals in his home.

The film begins with a long tracking shot focusing on a destitute young woman named Olive Stanton (Emily Watson). She is sleeping illegally in a theater, being awakened and kicked out.
