Actors Mukesh, Saikumar, Innocent, Janardhanan reprise their roles; while Aparna Gopinath, Shammi Thilakan and a few others are also included in the cast.
The film features original music & background score composed by Rahul Raj.
The film received mixed reviews from critics and public, but was, however, an average grosser.
Synopsis
Mannar Mathai (Innocent) is now running a travel agency Urvashi Tours & Travels,his partners in this agency are his old mates Gopalakrishnan (Mukesh) and Balakrishnan (Saikumar). Their drama group which was started in 1989, is celebrating its 25th anniversary and Manaar Mathai wants to perform a drama on this occasion. But Gopalakrishnan & Balakrishnan are not ready for this because their previous attempts in drama led them to nothing but problems. When they need a driver for their agency, they give an Ad in the news paper. But Mathayi also gives an extra Ad which says "Heroine required" which leads Nithya to reach their agency. Entry of the old villan Mahendra Varma (Biju Menon) complicates the setting. Rest of the movie is the fight between Mahendra Varma, Hareendra Varma & Ramji Rao (Ramji Rao has given up his wicked ways and has converted to a Christian, becoming a well-known pastor called Kunjumon, meaning "little boy" in Malayalam and is later revealed to be Nithya's father).Actors

Mannar Mathai (Innocent) is now running a drama group under Urvashi Theatres. The lead actors in this troupe, Gopalakrishnan (Mukesh) and Balakrishnan (Saikumar), always fights with each other for the lead role in the drama. During Urvashi Theatre's first stage show, Gopalakrishnan was supposed to act like slapping the heroine, but he ends up slapping her for real, and hard. The hurt heroine, namely Shakunthala, leaves the troupe accepting the invitation to act in a movie.

The story revolves around three unemployed people (the third is a middle age unsuccessful theater owner). The story opens with the arrival of Balakrishnan (Saikumar) in Cochin to dispute the denial of his company job which he was supposed to receive several years ago. Several candidates overtook his chance and the last one was Rani (Rekha) who pretends to be an influential figure in the town. Rani threatens Balakrishnan to continue to work despite his efforts to overthrow her. The company manager (Sankaradi) who knows her family situation (poor and pathetic) helps her to remain in the job. Balakrishnan determined to stay back in the town until he succeeds to get back his job back from Rani.
