Miss December is a 2011 dark romantic comedy directed by Derek Lindeman and written by Faith Brody. Jensen Bucher plays Ari, a waitress who believes she may be the next victim of a serial killer.

Synopsis

The "Calendar Girl Killer" has been murdering a different girl in Philadelphia every month and sending their photos to the press in pin-up style poses. After a taunting letter to the press describing his future 'Miss December', a waitress named Ari believes he has selected her and finds it flattering rather than horrifying and attempts to figure out who her 'secret admirer' may be.

The film takes place in a 1950s-esque alternate universe where radiation from space has turned the dead into zombies. This resulted in the "Zombie Wars", where humanity battled zombies to prevent a zombie apocalypse, with humanity the ultimate victor. The radiation still plagues humanity, as all those who die after the original contamination turn into the undead, unless the dead body is disposed of by decapitation or cremation. In order to continue living normal lives, communities are fenced with the help of a governing corporation named Zomcon. Zomcon provides collars with accompanying remote controls to control the zombies' hunger for flesh so as to use them as slaves or servants.

Six years after the events of the previous film, Glen, the kind and gentle son of Chucky and Tiffany, has a nightmare in which he murders a little girl's parents. Tiffany and Chucky argue over whether Glen is male or female, due to his lack of genitals (though he is clearly a male). Chucky decides to continue labeling him as a boy, whereas Tiffany labels him as a girl, calling him "Glenda".
