Radhakrishna under the banner Universal Media. The film features Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal and Amala Paul in the lead roles. S. Thaman composed the film's soundtrack and background score. Chota K. Naidu undertook the cinematography and Gautham Raju was the film's editor.
The film features Ram Charan in dual roles: Cherry, a software engineer in Hyderabad, and Siddharth Naayak, an inspiring young leader in Kolkata fighting against an evil politician named Rawat. The film revolves around Cherry assisting Siddharth in the triumph of good over evil after their paths cross.
Production began on 9 November 2011, and principal photography began on 7 February 2012. The film was extensively shot in Hyderabad and Kolkata, while a couple of the songs were shot in Dubai, Iceland, and Slovenia, making Naayak the first Indian film to be shot in Slovenia. Filming ended on 29 December 2012.
Released during the season of the Makar Sankranti festival on 9 January 2013, on 1600 screens worldwide, the film received generally positive reviews from critics and was commercially successful. The film was dubbed into Tamil and Malayalam with the same title. The film was loosely remade into Bengali as Hero: The Superstar in 2014. It was also dubbed in Hindi under the title Double Attack by Goldmines Telefilms in the same year.
Synopsis
Siddharth Naayak kills Central Minister Rawat's brother, Taxi Seth, and his henchmen in order to save three men. Rawat orders a CBI Officer to catch the criminal so that he may be executed. In CgTrix, Hyderabad there works a software engineer, Cherry, who is a dead ringer for Siddharth. Cherry's uncle Jilebi, the CEO of CgTrix, unexpectedly runs into trouble, angering the local Don, Babji. Cherry saves Jilebi from Babji by manipulation, but in the process becomes romantically interested in Babji's sister, Madhu. After Cherry saves several children from a mafia don, Madhu reciprocates his love. This angers Babji and he goes to kill Cherry, but is shocked when he sees what he thinks is Cherry assassinating the DGP of West Bengal. The CBI Officer also misunderstands, believing that Cherry is responsible for the two murders, although Siddharth is the real murderer. With Jilebi, the CBI Officer goes to Kumbh Mela at Varanasi in pursuit of Cherry. As Rawat is offering holy rituals, the CBI Officer catches Cherry and holds him, however Siddharth rises from the Ganges and stabs Rawat with a trident, after which he fights with all of Rawat's guards. As he is about to kill Rawat, the CBI Officer attacks him with a taser and arrests him, thereby exonerating Cherry.Actors

The film is about Krishna (Ravi Teja) who was once a software engineer but quits his job to give it to his friend and is unemployed in the city of Vijayawada. Sandhya (Trisha Krishnan) is a girl from Hyderabad who studies in college and comes to Vijayawada for her vacation to stay with her elder brother Bobby (Brahmanandam) and his wife. Krishna falls in love with Sandhya at first sight and starts chasing her to win her heart and enters the upper portion of their house as tenants with his brother (Chandra Mohan) and sister in law (Sudha). In this process Krishna will have clash with Local Rowdy Lanka Raju (Kadhal Dhandapani). Mistaking him to be one Tapori, Sandhya hates him first but later on she realizes his true nature . She returns to Hyderabad and lives with her older brother (Sayaji Shinde), a former builder and now a very powerful rowdy who is very possessive and protective about his sister. Krishna follows Sandhya to Hyderabad and works his way into their house with the help of Bobby and finally both of them confess their love. There, Krishna knows the flashback of Sandhya and how she is being chased by the notorious and cruel Jagga (Mukul Dev) assisted by his uncle (Jaya Prakash Reddy) for marriage. Krishna fights Jagga, Sandhya's older brother kills Jagga, and Krishna marries Sandhya.

Lakshmi Narayana (Venkatesh) is an elder son in a family with three brothers and two sisters. He is very strict about disciplining his brothers so that they become the men their father wanted them to be, to the point of beating them for coming home drunk. He owns a factory that is worth hundreds of crores. Shailaja a.k.a Shailu (Charmme Kaur), an employee in Lakshmi's company, has a huge crush on him. Janardhan (Shinde), a former employee of Lakshmi Industries who was accused of forgery, plans to take revenge on Lakshmi by creating division in his family. Soon Lakshmi 's sister falls in love with a man and he is accepted by Lakshmi with the marriage concluding in a grand manner. It is later revealed that this man is the nephew of Janardhan. This leads to Lakshmi Narayana revealing to this siblings that he and his sister (the youngest of the five) were actually adopted by their parents at a young age as they were orphans who were being ill treated by their uncles and aunts. All this leads to the splitting of the siblings with Lakshmi and his sister being thrown out of the house by their younger brothers. The only one standing beside Lakshmi are all the people in his factory and his other sister. Lakshmi even ends working in his factory for all this. He even moves into a small house with his sister where he is later joined by his mother. Later, it is revealed that Lakshmi had fallen in love with a girl, Nandini (Nayantara) earlier who was the niece of his foster father. Nandini was threatened by a young man who was the son of a Kolkata based don, Rayudu (Pradeep Rawat). Lakshmi beats up the guy and sends him into coma which earns him the wrath of Rayudu. The rest of the story is about how Lakshmi stands up to all these people together.

Seenu, better known as Alludu Seenu, lives with his uncle in a village where he and his uncle are in great debt. One day, they run away to Chennai,hoping to fly to Dubai and earning a lot of money and clearing their debts. They mistake their train and they end up in Hyderabad. Seenu lands in a lodge where he discovers he is in Hyderbad, but to his horror, his uncle is a doppelganger of Bhai, a don in the city. He uses his uncles face to earn a lot of money, and by fooling Dimple(Bramhanandam), the right hand of Bhai. He also manages to make Anjali(Samantha Ruth Prabhu),Bhai's daughter, fall in love with him, when she mistakes him to be her fiancee. When Bhai discovers that there is a doppelganger of him in the city, he plans to get him killed and ends up discovering that the doppelganger is his twin brother. The rest of the story how Seenu saves his uncle and marries Anjali.

Seenu (Nithiin) is a new admit at maharaja college of arts and sciences. Nandini (Neha) goes to the same college. Seenu is from a middle-class family and Nandini is a rich girl. Nandini is the only daughter of Gowri Shankar, (Prakash Raj), who is a land mafia don. Gowri Shankar's assistant suspects them to be lovers after he finds them dancing at the freshers celebration at college. Seenu gets beaten up badly. Irritated by this, Seenu is challenged to win Nandini's love. After few attempts, she falls in love with him so badly. They elope and get married when Gowri Shankar tries to separate them. The story takes few turns before the movie ends in a happy note.

Dharmayya Naidu (Vijaya Kumar) is an underworld kingpin who lost his wife because he is uneducated. Hence he wants to felicitate education in his seema area by constructing schools. He realizes that the quarry he owns has good quality granite deposits. Samba (NTR) is the son of Dharmayya Naidu. Prakash (Prakash Raj) is the son-in-law of Dharmayya Naidu. Prakash plays the game in such a way that Dharmayya Naidu is forced to give granite quarry as a dowry to Prakash's family, due to which Dharmayya Naidu's daughter commits suicide. When Samba comes to know the reason behind his sister's suicide, he occupies the quarry and kills the brothers of Prakash. Prakash kills everybody in the house of Samba in retaliation.

Eeshwar Chandra Prasad (Prabhas) is the son of Ram Murthy (Chalapathi Rao) and Shantamma (Sharada Urvashi). Ram Murthy wants his son to do some job. However, Shantamma pampers Eeshwar very much and hence he doesn't want to leave the village. Ram Murthy dies and in order to fulfil his last wish, Eeshwar goes to the city to earn money on the advice of his friend Basha (Ali), who was a pickpocket. Eeshwar could not meet Basha. On the other hand, Kotaiah (Kota Srinivasa Rao) runs big land mafia in Hyderabad city and a bitter rival of Narsing Pahilwan (Pradeep Rawat). Saidulu (Subbaraju) is Narsing's brother. Once Saidulu hacks Kotaiah and his assistant, when Eeshwar accidentally saves him. Eeshwar gets a job in a tea stall run by Chandranna (Chandra Mohan). He earns good money and purchases two gold bangles for his mother and plans to leave the city. At this juncture, Narsing humiliates Eeshwar for saving Kotaiah and stamps the gold bangles of his mother. Irked over this, Eeshwar kills Narsing in broad day light. As a result, he turns the biggest goon of the city. Meanwhile, Santamma reaches Hyderabad city to search for her son and takes shelter with Nandini (Nayantara), a journalism student. In order to save him from the police, Chandranna takes him out saying that his name is Yogi. Learning that Yogi killed Narsing, Kotaiah wants Yogi to join him, but to no avail. Chandranna encourages Eeshwar who turned Yogi to stay back in the city to save the poor, who gets harassed by the goons. Yogi remains a terror for the goons. So, Kotaiah and Saidulu join hands and hatch a plan to kill Yogi. While trying to carry it out, Yogi kills Saidulu. Nandini is also after Yogi for an interview to complete her practicals. Somehow, she falls in love with him. Though Yogi and Shantamma live in the same city, they could not meet each other. One day, Yogi meets Basha, who reveals that he saw Shantamma.
