Synopsis
Nandu (Nandamuri Taraka Ratna) is a student who wants to become a police officer. His parents (Suman and Seetha) want him to lead a meaningful life. Nandu has a habit of getting into fights and this leads him to clash with a local gangster Baba (Ajay). A few shocking incidents take place and Nandu ends up in jail. Fed up with the way things are turning up, Nandu introspects and decides to redeem himself as a man of the people. He reshapes himself as Nandeeswarudu and starts fighting for people who are oppressed.Actors

Chandrasekhar (Ranganath) is the editor of a daily called Addam. As he was ready to expose the misdeeds and corrupt practices of Home Minister Bhagawan Raj (Sai Kumar) the latter hangs him to death with the help of his henchman Lingam Goud (Vinodkumar).Chandu (Jagapati Babu), Abhi (Arunkumar) and Aparna (Archana) were orphans and were brought up by Chandrasekhar. They go to high positions and stay abroad. But they return to India to continue the legacy of Chandrasekhar and run Addam.Chandrasekhar wishes not to cause physical harm to the crooked politicians but they should be made unpopular. So Chandu takes over the editor's job and prepares a plan to catch the political red handed.As a first step they catch Vaishnavi Bank chairman Rajareddy (Ashokkumar) who declares insolvency in order to loot the people and expose him. During the course, the trio comes to know that Bhagawan Raj is part of the scam.Based on a video and audio, Chandu starts blackmailing Bhagawan Raj and makes him to spend the money he earned through scams for the benefit of people, as part of fulfilling his election promises. Gowri Shankar (Jagapathi Babu) is a circle inspector of Punjagutta and is known as a heavy corrupt police officer. Rangarao (Jeeva) is his assistant and his daughter Sindhu (Vimala Raman) is an aerobics, teacher. Once, two sons of a big industrialist (Prasad Babu) kill two girls for not accepting their love by pouring acid on them. Soon, the two get killed by some unidentified person in the same fashion. The industrialist uses his political influence and gets the case investigated by the CB-CID. The police commissioner (Chalapathi Rao) calls Gowri and tells him to hand over all the evidence to the CB-CID officer (Murali Sharma). Even as the CID officer is investigating, another two persons get murdered in the same fashion. The CID officer makes an in-depth study into the case and finally comes to the conclusion that it is Gowri, who is behind these murders. At this juncture, Gowri leaves for Mumbai and kills some gangsters who were kidnapping and selling young girls and exporting them to other countries. After he kills all the gangsters, the Mumbai police arrest him and keeps him in a jail, where an international terrorist Kasab from Pakistan was placed. The CBI officer gets a doubt and warns the jailer that Gowri intentionally surrendered to the police as he wanted to kill Kasab. What happens next should be seen on-screen.

The film starts with the penance of Sage Bhadra who becomes a hill with the blessings of Lord Rama. In later centuries, Dammakka, the tribal lady and worshiper of Lord Rama unearths and looks after the idols of Rama on the hill and awaits someone who can construct a temple there. On the other hand, Gopanna and his cousin Kamala fall in love and marry after a small conflict with their parents. After the marriage, Tanisha, the emperor of Golconda, with the recommendation of Akkanna and Madanna (the uncles of Gopanna), appoints Gopanna as Tehsildar of Husnabad. Thus, a Muslim who had been the Tehsildar to the place is dethroned for the sake of Gopanna. That ignites disgust among a few groups who attempt to murder Gopanna. However, Dammakka saves him while he lies unconscious on the bank of Godavari. She shows him the place of Bhadragiri and Gopanna becomes an ardent devotee of Rama. After a series of incidents, he decides to construct the Rama Mandir on the hill. He collects funds from people and with the help of Kabirdas, his guru, completes the construction of the temple. Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Seetha and Anjaneya live in invisible forms in the place during the construction. They keep on guarding Gopanna until he accomplishes his mission. Thus, with immense bhakti on Lord Rama, Gopanna becomes Ramadasu.
