Narada Vijaya (Kannada: ನಾರದ ವಿಜಯ) is a 1980 mythological - comedy Kannada film directed and co-produced by Siddalingaiah. The story is written by M. D. Sundar. The film starred Ananth Nag, Padmapriya and M. P. Shankar in lead roles.
The film was a musical blockbuster with all the songs composed by Ashwath-Vaidi considered evergreen hits.
Synopsis
Ananth Nag plays a dual role of Narada in the celestial world and a normal human on earth. It so happens that Narada is forced to descend on earth and interact with human. A series of humorous incidents occur.

He works for a small time firm dealing in wallpaper distribution, where his colleagues are gossip mongers. One amongst them is Simha, an office peon, who indulges in gambling bets with the employees of a leading law firm on Bangalore's prestigious MG Road. Parameshi, being a simpleton, is unaware of what his colleagues are up to. He falls prey to Simha's bet and ends up going out with a female colleague. Ramamani does not like Parameshi's going out with another woman and confronts him. Parameshi scoffs and suggests there is nothing wrong with socializing and he would be okay if Ramamani also goes out with another guy.

One day, he turns himself into an hospital to get free lodging and food, but comes across a recent patient named Gauri who has died of heart failure. He decides to take her belongings and make some money of them, but instead finds her diary. He realizes that Gauri has come across 3 men who had significant influence in her life. The first man was her former boss who had proposed indecently to sleep with her. The second man wanted her to pretend that they are married to fool his parents in return for money for her heart treatment. The last man is a friend of the 2nd man, and thought that he had slept with her in a drunken state. The truth is that none of the men had any physical contact with her. Lambodhar devises a plan to extract money from these men and their families. He writes letters to the m stating that Gauri has given birth to their son and named him Ganesh. After a series of funny events, all the three come to meet lambodhar on the same day, and the film ends when Lambodhar blackmails them into submission.
Ganesha and Subramanya, two brothers, promised their late father that they would remain bachelors until they achieve something significant in their lives. Their father thinks marriage would hinder personal achievements. Ganesha works at a construction firm, while younger brother Subramanya pursues fine arts. They shun female company, recoiling at the very sight of ladies. Much to their chagrin, they find themselves being sought by the fair sex much too often. Be it the girl residing in the house opposite to theirs or the middle aged lady house-owner, they always find themselves in situations that they think could shake their principles.
