Synopsis
Jomar Henriksen, ancien skieur professionnel, travaille comme employé sur les pistes. Il ne veut désormais plus entendre parler de ski et néglige les tâches qu'on lui a confiées. Il passe son temps à fumer, à boire et surtout à ne rien faire. Un jour, un ancien copain se présente chez lui et lui annonce qu'il est le père d'un enfant qui vit avec sa mère dans le nord du pays : c'est le moment où jamais de tourner le dos à cette existence vie. Commence ainsi un voyage à moto-neige ponctué de rencontres loufoques et d'aventures insolites...Actors

The film is about 24-year-old Kristoffer (Nicolai Cleve Broch), who lives in Tøyen in Oslo with his friends Geir (Aksel Hennie) and Stig Inge (Anders Baasmo Christiansen). Geir likes to live dangerously, while Stig is a more cautious and uncertain type. Kristoffer and Geir work as billboard hangers, and in his spare time Kristoffer makes a video diary with Geir and Stig, containing stunts of a Jackass-nature. Lorsque dans la nuit du 8 au 9 avril 1940, la flotte allemande arrive pour envahir la Norvège, Curt Bräuer, l’émissaire de Hitler à Oslo, reçoit la mission d’apporter au gouvernement norvégien un ultimatum qui veut imposer l’occupation allemande. Novembre 1999. Après le décès de son épouse, Trond Sander, âgé de 67 ans, s'est retiré d'Oslo dans un petit village de l'est de la Norvège. The film is set in the year 1976, five years after the original film East is East. Little is known about most of the Khan children, except that they seldom communicate with their parents. Tariq is now a hippie (looking like George Harrison) who runs a new age shop with older brother Nazir and has an English girlfriend who is unaware of his true ethnicity, and Maneer is living with his extended family in Pakistan where he is searching for a suitable wife. Sajid, the youngest who no longer wears a parka, is a truant who is constantly bullied due to his Pakistani background, although the headmaster - a former British soldier who had served in the Punjab - is sympathetic and encourages him to embrace his heritage. After Sajid is caught shoplifting, his father George, who has somewhat retained his bullying nature, attacks him at home. When Sajid retaliates by calling him a "dirty Paki bastard," a devastated George states all of his other children in England have become British and he cannot lose Sajid as well, so he decides to take him to Pakistan to meet his extended family and show him that life there is better, though Ella openly disapproves.
