O Príncipe (lit. "The Prince") is a 2002 Brazilian drama film directed and written by Ugo Giorgetti and starring Eduardo Tornaghi, Bruna Lombardi, Ricardo Blat, Ewerton de Castro and Otávio Augusto.

The plot of the film follows the story of Gustavo (Eduardo Tornaghi), a middle-aged intellectual man, who lives in Paris for more than 20 years, after leaving Brazil because of the coup d'état. After many years, he returns to São Paulo, due to the illness of his mother, in an opportunity to discover a country that he does not recognize anymore.

She breaks with Andrade, and as a journalist, she is arrested by the Dictatorship of Getúlio Vargas. After leaving prison, she abandons Communism in favor of Trotskyist Socialism, marries to Geraldo Ferraz, and starts a career as theatre director.

Dora is a retired schoolteacher who has become embittered. She works at Rio de Janeiro's Central Station, writing letters for illiterate customers, in order to make ends meet. Pedro Bengoa, an ex-union organizing demolition worker and Bruno Di Toro, a coworker friend of his, decide to blackmail the corrupt company they work for, setting up a fake accident in a copper pit.
