Synopsis
Corbett stars as Matt Andrews, a geologist who is asked to investigate why there have been two large sinkholes affecting the city of New Orleans. Jessica Steen plays his girlfriend Allison Beauchamp, assistant to the Mayor, who has to decide whether the problems with the sinkholes will spread far enough to require that the remainder of Mardi Gras be cancelled, which would be an economic disaster to the city.Actors

In 1883, the volcano on the island of Krakatoa in the Netherlands East Indies begins to erupt, terrorizing the children at a mission school in Palembang on nearby Sumatra. Coyote Bus Lines' scientists and designers work feverishly to complete Cyclops, a state-of-the-art jumbo bus, enabling man to achieve a new milestone in bussing: non-stop service between New York City and Denver. In the Arctic waters near the Helheim Glacier in Greenland, a person is surfing on waves created by falling chunks of ice that fall off the glacier and into the ocean caused by the effects of global warming. However, a very large chunk of ice falls into the water, creating an especially large wave. The film begins with a view of the SS Claridon, as the narrator (George Furness, who also plays Third Officer Osborne in the film) states, "The SS Claridon, a proud ship, a venerable ship, but as ships go, an old ship. Le policier Mark Corley est avec son fils Trent dans le métro et assiste à l'invasion de Los Angeles par des extra-terrestres. Audrey, la conductrice de métro reçoit un message l'avertissant de ne pas regarder une lumière bleue. Or Trent, ignorant ce message l'a vu et est hypnotisé. C'est l'intervention de son père qui l'a retenu de toutes ses forces, l'empêchant ainsi d'être aspiré contrairement aux autres personnes qui ont regardées cette lumière. Mark aide ensuite un petit groupe de survivants à quitter la ville envahie par les extra-terrestres mais au cours de leur périple ils sont capturés et enfermés à bord d'un vaisseau spatial alien. Séparé du groupe de survivants, Mark rencontre un extra-terrestre différent des autres, celui-ci se bat du côté des humains qui est en fait Jarrod du film précédent. Mark rencontre ensuite Elaine, la femme de Jarrod, enceinte et sur le point d'accoucher, il l'aide à faire naître leur enfant qui s'avère être une petite fille qui grandit très vite et se révèle avoir des dons. Mark retrouve ensuite son fils qui se fait décerveler par des tentacules hostiles afin de devenir un soldat extra-terrestre, la conductrice de métro et l'aveugle noir et ensemble ils se battent tous contre le chef des aliens. Au cours de la bagarre, l'astronef finit par échouer au Laos. L'aveugle noir succombe à ses blessures tandis que Mark et la conductrice de métro qui tient dans ses bras la petite fille rencontrent deux asiatiques, Sua et Kanya. Ces derniers, un frère et une sœur qui appartiennent au triangle d'or, s'aident mutuellement pour combattre la menace extraterrestre. Ils se réfugient dans un temple bouddhiste où Mark, Audrey et la jeune fille rencontrent un scientifique du nom de Harper. Celui-ci a trouvé un remède contre les effets de la lumière hypnotique dans le sang de la jeune fille. Avec ce remède versé dans une seringue, Mark s'infiltre dans le vaisseau extra-terrestre et parvient à l'injecter dans une bombe extraterrestre qui rend la conscience à tous les humains qui ont été transformés en alien et tue le chef des envahisseurs. Dix ans plus tard, le bébé qui est devenu adulte est à la tête de la résistance humaine, traquant les extra-terrestres jusqu'au confins de l'univers pour les éliminer.

A group of animal activists, consisting of Dr. Nikki Riley (Debbie Gibson), Gia (Arden Cho) and Ben (Patrick Hancock), break into a house and steal dozens of exotic pythons before setting them free into the Florida Everglades. Their actions inadvertently cause the snakes to grow into alarming sizes and threaten the ecosystem, as they kill over 72 alligators in a matter of days. Due to the threat of the invasive species, Park Ranger Terry O’Hara (Tiffany) issues permits to the local hunters to exterminate the pythons – much to Nikki’s dismay. However, the hunters themselves – including Terry’s fiancé Justin (Carey Van Dyke) – are quickly eliminated by the giant snakes. Vowing to avenge her fiancé’s death, Terry and Angie (Kathryn Joosten) take boxes of anabolic steroids from Angie’s grandson Manny (Chris Neville) and inject them into dead chickens before feeding them to alligators. Among the steroids is an experimental serum that neutralizes muscle growth inhibitors with a side effect of increased aggression. Meanwhile, Nikki and her group set up cameras all over the Everglades to monitor Terry’s activities. They catch and record Terry and Angie feeding the steroid-laced chickens to the alligators.
