Synopsis
Laxmi Narayan 1 (Tushar Kapoor) lives a poor lifestyle in Mumbai with his widowed mother Kanta, who wants him to be a successful gangster and would like him to kill a few people, make enough money, then marry Chota Khujli's daughter, Meena Khujli. To fulfill his mother's wish, Laxminarayan #1 accepts a contract to kill D'Mello Yadav (Mukesh Tiwari), a Pondi-based gangster, who has stolen a diamond.Actors

Chastised by their son, Aayush's Hindi school-teacher for not conversing in one of the national languages, as well as ignoring the relevance of the word 'Atithi', Mumbai-based Bollywood writer, Puneet (Ajay Devgn), and his wife, Munmun (Konkona Sen Sharma), go out of their way to welcome an hitherto unknown paternal uncle, Lambodar (Paresh Rawal), from Gorakhpur. Hoping that he will depart soon, the couple find their lives turned upside when he not only refuses to leave but interferes with their professional and personal lives – so much so that Puneet gets fired from his movie project 'Pachaas', and Munmun almost loses her job. Raju Malhotra (Emraan Hashmi) and Rajan Malhotra (Tusshar Kapoor) study in the same college but are poles apart in everything. While Raju is a brat, poor in studies but good in sports, Rajan is a brilliant student but a zero in extracurricular activities. The scientist had stored a secret code in a stuffed toy, a parrot, now being sought by Mehboob, and he had been able to hide the toy in Tanya's car before being killed. Unawares, Tanya leaves the toy at home before fleeing the country, and the toy is later picked up by Karan, who himself is not aware of Tanya's predicament.
