The film has been dubbed into Tamil as Subramaniam and in Hindi as Ek Aur Khal Nayak. The Film was remade Twice in Dhallywood as Boss Number One and Premik Number One with Shakib Khan.
Synopsis
Vamsi (Gopichand) is the son of an affluent handloom house owner Muddu Krishna Rao (Paruchuri Venkateshwara Rao). He happens to fall in love with a girl Bujji (Bhavana) who is an orphan and stays in a hostel. With the consent of his parents, Vamsi tries to get engaged with Bujji. But she was kidnapped by a group of gangsters. Bujji is attempted to molest by one of gangster brother (Ajay) who is roughed up by Vamsi. The gangster (Ashish Vidyarthi) vows to take revenge and on the day of Gopichand marriage with Bujji. He kidnaps and rapes her in front of the hero. All this mishap happens because of support of MLA {Rajiv Kanakala} who is the close friend of Vamsi as he is promised with minister berth by the gangster and stabs Vamsi. Vamsi arrives Hyderabad and tries to trace the gangsters. Because of his betrayal, Vamsi kills his MLA friend Raghava (Rajiv Kanakala). Later in the movie, Sayaji Shinde interviews Vamsi's parents and family members because Vamsi is in a state of hallucination and he didn't know until he told him. The cop Syyaji Shinde investigates the case though at the end he catches the hero but releases him and gives his support for killing gangsters. The hero kills Lal Mahankali (Asish Vidyarthi) and rips his brother's arm off. Vamsi's dad tells him that Bujji dies the day of the engagement because she jumped off a rock building.Actors

Surendra (T. Gopichand) is an honest and hot-blooded cop. Archana (Gowri Pandit) is the daughter of police commissioner. They meet accidentally and their relationship blossoms into love. Archana's father is of Bihar origin. Parents settle the match of Surendra and Archana. An auto driver, sees Mattu Bhai (Ashish Vidyarthi) murder a journalist. The auto driver manages to capture Mattu Bhai & his henchman, and hold them until the Police arrive. Afterwards, the auto driver returns home to his wife and son, Charan. Unfortunately, Mattu Bhai & his henchmen break into their house that night. Nagendra Naidu (Nagendra Babu) is a powerful police officer. He wants to see his son Radhakrishna (Nitin) also as a good police officer. He always dreams of his son bashing the dons and get a state government's medal which should be presented through his hands. Tirupathi (Nitin Kumar Reddy) is a brilliant man who wants to become a realtor, much to the chagrin of his father (Chandramohan), who doesn't support his goal. Kali (Gopichand) lives along with his mother on the business of hiring mike set and lighting equipment for wedding and other ceremonies. Jyothi (Meera Jasmine) is a singer who sings chorus in films. A lady police inspector (Ankitha) keeps on following Kali and tries to seduce him to make him fall in her love. Kali is also a threat for many in his area as he answers only with muscle power if things work against him. Knowing this, once Jyothi claims that she is Kali’s person to save herself from a group of eve teasers. Eve teasers leave her for the fear of Kali. In a dramatic sequence, like in any other film Kali happens to encounter Jyothi. Gopichand inclines for Jyothi and proposes her. But she negates and tells her flash back.
