Paadhai Theriyudhu Paar (English: Look, the path is visible) is a 1960 Indian Tamil film directed by Nemai Ghosh. The film stars K. Vijayan and S. V. Subbiah in the lead roles. The film had musical score by M. B. Sreenivasan. The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil along with Kalathur Kannamma.

The film is based on a story of Swarnakamal Bhattacharya. Depicting the physical pain and crisis, the film is about the partition of Bengal and the flow of refugees from East Pakistan (present Bangladesh) into India. The story of the film begins in a village of East Bengal where people (Hindus and Muslims) leave peacefully. Govinda and Sumati are husband wife and they are about to have a child. But, the partition forces Hindu people to leave their ancestral village. So, they become refugee. They don't find any location or shelter in Calcutta and eke out their daily lives in temporary shelters in and around Sealdah railway station. Along with millions of refugees the family has to face untold misery in big city.

A young women Meena(Devika) escapes from the clutches of a womenzing Zamindar Marthandam(O. A. K. Devar). Sahasranamam and his wife Parvathi(T. R. Rajakumari), who adopted her. Because, she was similar to the elder couple own daughter Uma was passed away from two years ago. Meena such as habit of similar to uma, Meena was wrote poet, singing and composing music instruments. They wish her wed their nephew Sekahar(S. S. Rajendran). But he was agree the wedding and started avoiding her. But Meena was falls love with sekhar. Adopted brother Mohan(R. Muthuraman and a friend Nithyanandham(T. R. Ramachandran try to help of meena holding hand of Sekahar. Sekhar was impressed to her and loves with each other. Meena and Sekhar wedding is arranged. But, during the ceremony another man Gopal(R. S. Manohar) shows up claims to meena to be his wife and she's named as Sumathi. Gopal kept at the evidence for their wedding photo and witness of her father Somasundaram(V. S. Raghavan).

Mohan (Nagesh) is a tailor who lives with his younger sister Vimala (Jayalalithaa). Orphaned at a very young age, Mohan goes through a life of hardship and fulfill all his sister's wish. Womanizer Rajinikanth (A. V. M. Rajan) lures Vimala and cheats on her. Unable to face her brother, she commits suicide. Mohan confronts Rajinikanth and in a fit of rage kills him. A wild search is on by the cops and the fugitive hides in 'Major' Chandrakanth (Major Sundarrajan) house. Mohan is amused and fascinated by Chandrakanth virtues and how he manages to live though he is blind. Mohan reveals why he is on the run from law and ironically the deceased happens to be Chandrakanth's youngest son. Chandrakanth feels humiliated for nurturing Rajinikanth and is sorry for Mohan's plight. In the end Inspector Srikanth (Muthuraman), eldest son of Chandrakanth arrests Mohan along with his father for his hospitality to a criminal.
