Pedababu is a 2004 Telugu film produced by M.L. Kumar Chowdary on Sri Keerthi Creations banner and directed by Paruchuri Murali. Starring Jagapathi Babu and Kalyani in the lead roles and music composed by Chakri. Sunil received Filmfare Award for Best Comedian – Telugu for this film.
Synopsis
Peda Babu (Jagapati Babu) is the village head. He stays alone and away from his mother (Suhasini) who is staying in the same village along with Peda Babu's father and siblings. The entire village respects Pedababu as village head. But why is Pedababu staying away from his mother. He has not spoken a word to her for the past 25 years. What is the reason? That exact flashback has the major interest part of the story.Actors

The Story starts with Radha (Aamani) marries Madhu (Jagapati Babu), a civil engineer. Radha thinks that he is rich but turns out Madhu has nothing. This infuriates Radha as her dream is to be rich and wealthy. Even the birth of two children does not change her. Meanwhile Latha (Roja), a young girl who is a daughter of Madhu's boss (Subbaraya Sharma) comes from London to live there. She falls in love with Madhu and asks to marry her unaware of Madhu's marriage and two children. Madhu rejects her proposal that she is being foolish as he was already married. When Latha meets Radha, she offers her one crore rupees in exchange for marriage to Madhu. Radha agrees and she starts forcing Madhu for remarriage. Madhu agrees with the heavy heart as Radha threatens to commit suicide. But Madhu also starts falling in love with Latha. Radha notices that she was being left out. She slowly realizes her mistake and wants to get Madhu back. On other way, Madhu decides to go to London with Latha. Radha's children also don't want to live with Radha and they both decides to go with Latha and Madhu. Radha learns the importance of family and comes to the airport to give them a sad send-off. However, Latha decides to go back London alone and reveals that she is pregnant. The movie ends as Latha leaves and giving Radha her family back.

Kittu / Krishna (Sundeep Kishan) is a cab driver who saves his money with the cab owner (Tanikella Bharani). Krishna (Nandamuri Balakrishna) lives in Dubai while his family is in India. His grandmother is against him who settled in India. Krishna falls for Sneha (Sonal Chauhan) and comes to India to seek the blessings of his grandmother. Jitender (Jagapati Babu) is a man with pride and haughtiness. He cannot tolerate anyone who comes across his way. Once, he goes to a nearby village for a marriage proposal to him. There he gets involved in a quarrel with the village headman (Suman) due to some unfortunate events and gets jailed. From then onwards, he tries to take revenge on that family. He kills the family members of the village headman one-by-one. As soon as Krishna arrives in India, he gets involved in quarreling with the gang of Jitendra. When Krishna and his family members are traveling in a bus to visit a temple Jitender's hitmen shoot Krishna and his family members are beaten badly by his henchmen. Krishna's elder brother Jai Dev The Legend (Nandamuri Balakrishna) who remained exiled obeying his grandmother, saves them and Krishna is admitted in a hospital. Then the past is revealed that twenty years back there was a quarrel between Jai Dev and Jitender in which Jai Dev's cousin (Radhika Apte) whom he loved was killed by Jitender. At present, he comes to know that Jitender is going to become Chief Minister of the state.How he stops Jitender from claiming this throne forms the rest of the story.
