Synopsis
Goundamani is sold to Senthamarai and later deserted by his parents when he was a newborn kid. The Nurse adopts the deserted baby and he grows up in the Nurse's family with her son S. V. Shekhar. Jeevitha, SV Sekhar's sister plays Goundamani's love interest.Actors

Sivaraman (Nassar), an honest government clerk, and his wife Lakshmi (Raadhika), belong to a middle-class family and they have two children. Anja Singam Marudupandi (Goundamani), a corrupted politician, moves into a new house near Sivaraman's house. Marudupandi's life style influences Lakshmi and she tries to ape him by buys luxurious items on instalments. This puts pressure on Shivarama and he takes a loan from his office peon but the police arrests him for corruption. He later finds a job in a brandy company with Marudupandi's recommendation.

Alexander (Arjun) is a henchman who works for the smuggler Peter (Tiger Prabhakar) and Alexander is considered by Peter as his faithful henchman. Peter often confronts his enemy Ayyanar (Radha Ravi).
