Planet Raptor is a 2007 science-fiction made-for-television film directed by Gary Jones. It is a sequel to the 2004 made-for-TV film, Raptor Island. Steven Bauer returned in this sequel playing a different role. It was entirely filmed in Romania. The movie premiered in the United States on 25 January 2009 but was previously released on DVD in Brazil and Japan.

Synopsis

In 2066, the planet is entirely occupied by raptors. The only hope for the human race is a group of marines.

The film opens with an alien ship that crashes into a U.S national park. The alien's dead arm comes out of the craft and a small mosquito starts feeding off the blood. While driving, two lovers Megan and Ray (Rachelle Loiselle and Tim Lovelace) accidentally hit the mutated giant mosquito. They get out of the vehicle to analyses it, unsure of its nature. They then go to a summer camp and rent a Bungalow. Meanwhile Hendricks (Ron Asheton) is sent off to spread mosquito killing gas everywhere and even on the campers. Three bank robbers, Earl, Junior and Rex are stopped in the forest and this is when Rex first meets his encounter with the giant mosquitoes. He runs for his life but is accidentally shot down by Junior. Megan, Ray, Earl, Junior, Hendricks and Parks a searcher for a radioactive meteorite are brought back together in a RV. They fight against the insects until the vehicle tips over and crashes. Everyone manages to get out, except for Junior who is attacked and brutally killed by the mosquitoes. The rest of the group are trapped inside a sewer and fight off the mosquitoes with fire. The morning comes and the group comes out exhausted and wounded. They walk through the forest, find and hide in an abandoned farm house. But the mosquitoes quickly find the crew and try to get them. Meanwhile, searching around the house, Parks and Hendricks find a room filled with mosquito larva. So they plan to blow up the house to kill all the mosquitoes. They install a bomb, while still fighting against the mutants. Hendricks tries to escape the house by an elevator but the contraption breaks and Hendricks falls to his death. Earl is also later killed, one second before the house explodes and only Parks, Ray and Megan manages to survive.

After a bank robbery, four criminals try to escape to the village of Santo Cristo in Acapulco, but they hijack the plane when a storm requires the pilot to start to turn around. They force the pilot to continue flying. After the copilot struggles with one of the hijackers, the plane's instrument panel is destroyed and it crashes. Most of the passengers and one of the hijackers die in the crash. The criminals gather the remaining passengers, killing those too injured to be of use, and force the rest to haul their loot through the swamp to the town they need to reach to finish their escape. While they gather the loot, a crocodile suddenly emerges from the water and eats the pilot. The criminals empty three guns into it, killing it.

Astronaut and Osteopath, Dr. Ivan Hood (Bruce Campbell) and his companion Kelly (Renee O'Connor) return to Earth after a 40 year space mission with two other astronauts. They are soon captured by other humans and one of their team is killed after sustaining a sprain; Dr. Hood pointed out that it would have healed in a few days. They are taken to a work camp, to their surprise, is run by locust-like aliens. These aliens had arrived 20 years ago to feast on the trees and used E.M.P. bombs to cripple earth before their invasion. The other member of their team is eaten alive by one of the aliens after refusing to work. The camp is supervised by human bounty hunters; they are treated better. After seeing how illiterate and savage humans have become due to the aliens, Dr. Hood and Kelly plan to make an escape the next day after hearing rumors that the President has survived and has an army waiting to strike back.

In the opening, a collision between two alien spaceships occurs. The collision unleashes a capsule which heads toward Earth. The capsule collides with a small ship, causing an explosion. The sharks eat the crystals which cause them to become vicious killers, eating anyone and attacking anything that comes near them. Now, the researchers of the Oshona are stuck underneath the Bermuda Triangle. The Navy attempts to rescue them, but many people die in the process.

In 1992, journalist Kenichiro Terasawa (Kosuke Toyohara) is writing a book about Godzilla and learns about a group of Japanese soldiers stationed on Lagos Island in the South Pacific during World War II. They were unintentionally saved from a group of American soldiers by a mysterious dinosaur known as "Godzillasaurus" in February 1944. In 1996, after the death of SpaceGodzilla, Miki Saegusa travels to Birth Island to check on Godzilla and its adopted child, but finds the entire island destroyed. Godzilla appears in Hong Kong, covered in glowing lava-like rashes. It goes on a rampage, causing major collateral damage and killing thousands of civilians. A group of representatives from the Japan Self Defense Forces (JSDF) hires college student Kenichi Yamane, the grandson of Dr. Kyohei Yamane, to work at the center in an attempt to unravel the mystery of Godzilla's condition. Yamane suspects that Godzilla's heart, which acts as a nuclear reactor, is going through a nuclear meltdown. He theorizes that, when Godzilla's temperature reaches 1,200 degrees Celsius, it will explode with a force approximately "1,000 times greater than all nuclear weapons put together, a burst of power unseen since time began.
