Portrait de famille est une collection de courts métrages iraniens pour la jeunesse réalisée par Morteza Ahadi Sarkani, Mohammad Ali Soleymanzadeh et Mahin Javaherian, et sortie en France en 2013. Séquence 1 : Contes de la forêt viennoise Porky chasse Bugs avec son chien. Bugs fait lire au chien de Porky un livre sur les bonnes manières lorsque ce dernier trouve Bugs et le pointe (comme s'il l'avait pointé des doigts) et le ferme avec son nez dedans ! Lorsque Bugs réussit à s'emparer du fusil de Porky mais qu'il le lance dans le trou d'arbre d'un écureuil, ce dernier essaye de tirer sur les trois présumés coupables : Porky et son chien n'ont pas été touchés ; seul Bugs (apparemment) l'est. Quand Porky veut le soigner, Bugs révèle un sous-vêtement et gifle Porky et son chien et emmêle les nœuds du chapeau de Porky avec les oreilles de son animal.

Jafar, Grand Vizier to the Sultan of the fictional sultanate of Agrabah, attempts to retrieve a magical oil lamp containing a genie from the Cave of Wonders. He enlists a petty thief to enter the cave and retrieve it, whose attempt fails. Jafar and his parrot assistant, Iago, learn that only a "Diamond in the Rough" can enter the cave. Meanwhile, Jasmine, the Sultan's daughter, frustrated with her life in the palace, flees to Agrabah's marketplace. There she meets street rat Aladdin and his monkey pet, Abu, and the two begin to form a friendship. After Jafar orders Aladdin to be captured, Jasmine orders him to have him released but Jafar tricks her into thinking Aladdin was sentenced to death.

In Brazil, various exotic birds are smuggled out of the country. In Moose Lake, Minnesota, a crate with a male Spix's macaw hatchling falls out of a truck and is found by a little girl named Linda Gunderson, who names him Blu. The King (Jean Marais) promises his dying Queen that after her death he will only marry a woman as beautiful and virtuous as she. Pressed by his advisers to remarry and produce an heir, he comes to the conclusion that the only way to fulfil his promise is to marry his own daughter, the Princess (Catherine Deneuve). Following the advice of her godmother, the Lilac Fairy (Delphine Seyrig), the Princess demands a series of seemingly impossible nuptial gifts, in the hope that her father will be forced to give up his plans of marriage. However, the King succeeds in providing her with dresses the colour of the weather, of the moon and of the sun, and finally with the skin of a magic donkey that excretes jewels, the source of his kingdom's wealth. Donning the donkey skin, the Princess flees her father's kingdom to avoid the incestuous marriage.

In the Kingdom of Oriana, Princess Oriana, ruler of the kingdom, has been informed by a local fortune teller Pearl that her evil uncle, the Duke of Zill, is invading the kingdom. To counter the threat of the Duke, Oriana and Pearl descend into the cavern underneath the castle and attempt to use an ancient device called the "Dimensporter" in order to escape to another dimension and find a hero to save the kingdom. However, they are caught by the Duke's robotic army and imprisoned, while the Duke himself seizes control of the kingdom. As the princess is taken away by the Duke's "Cylinder" robots, she sheds a magical tear, which flies into the Dimensporter in her place and is transported to Felix's dimension, where the eponymous feline is taking a nap underneath a palm tree when the tear finds him. The tear wakes and guides him to an abandoned gold mine, where the Dimensporter is located. Felix, with his magical bag of tricks, is soon transported to the Kingdom of Oriana.
