Raguluthunna Bharatham (English: Burning India) is a patriotic Telugu film released in 1992, produced by Challa Subrahmanyam on Maitra Creations banner, directed by Allani Sridhar. Starring ANR, Jagapathi Babu and Divyavani in the lead roles and music composed by Vidyasagar. The film recorded as flop at box office.

Synopsis

Raghupathi (ANR) a popular freedom fighter comes back from the coma after 45 years of independence. And he observes the difference in between what they have been dreamed and what is happening in the country. How the people are struggling with Corruption, Naxalism, Terrorism and dirty Politics, which makes him restart another freedom fight movement against polluted India. Remaining, the story is how he awakes social awareness in people.

Justice Ram Mohan Rao (ANR) is a retired honest judge who lives with a joint family. His wife Parvathi (Rohini Hattangadi) hates her husband since he made the police find his second son Venu (Brahmaji) who was a wanted Naxalite. Actually, Ram Mohan Rao thought he could make Venu, surrender to police but accidentally Venu dies in Police encounter. Parvathi blames Ram Mohan Rao as the murderer and stops speaking to him from that day. They have two more sons and one daughter. ACP Madhu (Sarath Babu) their elder son, who acts nice before Ram Mohan Rao, but really is a money-minded and corrupted officer in general, and Ravi (Jagapathi Babu) their third son, whom Ram Mohan Rao thinks is a slacker that wastes time with his friends (Ali, Sudhakar, and others). This is all true however, he always fights for justice. Ravi messes with Rani (Aamani), a cranky laborer until they eventually both fall in love with each other.

Balaramaiah (Sobhan Babu) is the head of the village, his word is an ordinance to villagers. He leaves with his wife Vasumathi (Srividya) and daughter Pooja (Rajeevi), but he strictly adheres to the caste. That's why he get read of his brother Krishna Murthy (Dr. Rajashekhar) and sister Seeta (Kalpana) because father is same to both of them, but Krishna Murthy's mother is from a lower caste. So Balaramaiah always ignores Krishna Murthy and both of them leaves by making participation of their house. Shivaji (Jagapati Babu) brother-in-law (son of maternal uncle) to Krishna Murthy comes to the village, for his help and Krishna Murthy gives shelter to him in his house. Shivaji falls in love with Pooja. Balaramaiah comes to know about this and he makes arrangements for Pooja's marriage with Antharvedi (Tanikella Bharani), son of Chintamani (Gollapudi Maruthi Rao) who always makes clashes between Balaramaiah & Krishna Murthy. At the end Balaramaiah realizes his mistake with the advice of Vasumati, accepts Krishna Murthy as his brother and a happy ending by rejoining the entire family.
