Randy and the Mob was filmed in August 2005 in several locations in and around Atlanta, Georgia, mostly in Villa Rica, Georgia. The film won the Audience Choice Award at the Nashville Film Festival.
Synopsis
'Good ol’ boy' Randy Pearson can’t seem to help getting in over his head with his various businesses. His latest scheme to keep his businesses afloat goes awry when a long-standing debt becomes due to a couple of low level Italian mobsters. And the IRS wants to talk to Randy too! Randy’s forced to swing into action, but his only hope is a helping hand from his carpal-tunneled, baton-teaching wife, Charlotte; his estranged, gay twin brother, Cecil, and Tino Armani, a mysterious modern day prophet with a knack for high fashion, Italian cooking and clogging. They serve as a powerful reminder of the strength of Southern roots, where love and family can usually be counted on to trump all adversities.Actors

En pleine prohibition, Claire, une jeune veuve, tente de reprendre les affaires de son compagnon avec la complicité de Walker. Une opération de trafic de travailleurs clandestins à la frontière mexicaine échoue lamentablement. Un américain, Kibby propose au couple une association et le trio se lance dans la contrebande d'alcool. Ils utiliseront pour ce faire un bateau voguant dans la baie de San-Francisco, le Lucky Lady. L'affaire n'est pas si simple puisqu'il faut compter avec la mafia dirigée par l'inquiétant McTeague et aussi par des gardes côtes incorruptibles. La première opération réussit, le trio dépense son argent dans un hôtel de luxe. Les relations entre les trois personnages tournent vite au ménage à trois. Mais Claire pense à son avenir, et sait qu'une fois l'argent dépensé, ils n'auront plus rien, il leur faut donc refaire une nouvelle grosse opération, mais cette fois McTeague n'est pas décidé à se laisser faire et compte bien éliminer ce trio qui le gène dans son propre trafic. On va donc vers une confrontation majeure où tous les moyens vont être bons pour éliminer l'adversaire.

Angela de Marco (Michelle Pfeiffer) is the wife of mafia up-and-comer Frank "The Cucumber" de Marco (Alec Baldwin), who gets violently dispatched by Mob boss Tony "The Tiger" Russo (Dean Stockwell) when he is discovered in a compromising situation with the latter's mistress Karen (Nancy Travis). Angela wants to escape the mafia scene with her son, but is harassed by Tony who puts the moves on her at Frank's funeral. This clinch earns her the suspicion of FBI agents Mike Downey (Matthew Modine) and Ed Benitez (Oliver Platt), and also of Tony's wife Connie (Mercedes Ruehl), who repeatedly confronts Angela with accusations of stealing her husband. To further complicate things, Mike Downey is assigned to monitor all of Angela's movements as part of an undercover surveillance operation, but cannot resist becoming romantically involved with Angela himself. Angela's attempts to break away from the Mob result in comic mayhem and a climactic showdown in a honeymoon suite in Miami.

Gerald Clamson (Lewis) is a bank examiner who loves fishing on his annual two week holiday.
