The film, directed by David Dhawan, stars Fardeen Khan, Zayed Khan, Sharman Joshi, Ayesha Takia, Esha Deol, Soha Ali Khan, Riya Sen, Aarti Chhabria, Sophia Chaudhary, Sanjay Dutt and Satish Shah. The film was produced by Vashu Bhagnani. The film is remake of the Kannada movie Kothigalu Saar Kothigalu.
Synopsis
Raj Mittal (Fardeen Khan), Veer Saxena (Zayed Khan) and Aryan Kapoor (Sharman Joshi) are unhappy with their respective marriages even though they love their spouses. Their wives Bhavana (Ayesha Takia), Diya (Esha Deol) and Sonia (Soha Ali Khan) are busy with their everyday lives, and their husbands feel ignored by them. Bhavana constantly uses religion as an excuse to not be intimate with her husband, Diya aspires to be an actress for Mr.Y (Rajpal Yadav), and Sonia is a lawyer who is obsessed with doing cases with her partner H.S Gulati (Ali Asgar). the three men try to commit suicide as Veer tries to hang himself on a tree but falls, Aryan drinks expired rat poison and Raj wishes he was run over by a train but their suicide plan does not work until they also meet Kothari (Satish Shah) who is also trying to commit suicide because he had three companyies that have broken down. The three men get a job as Kothari hires them to work for him. Soon the three men come across Kothari's daughters: Madhuri (Riya Sen), Rekha (Aarti Chhabria) and Dimple (Sophie Choudry). It is not long before they are tempted by them. Unfortunately for them Lucky Bhai (Sanjay Dutt) is out to make their life hell and expose them to their unassuming wives. The three men sign a contract as the three beauties have been deceived and that their wives are disappointed at them. Once again the three friends commit suicide by standing on top of a ladder but are left hanging when Kothari tries to cut the ladder with a chainsaw. their wives come but are left hanging to as Lucky Bhai saves them but Raj falls into a lump of dust and junk, Aryan falls through wires and electricity and Kothari and Veer falls into a dog van with a broken arm along with Kothari who falls onto a cement packet. Injured, Veer,Raj and Aryan apoligize to Lucky Bhai as he feels awkward about saving people but has trust in them.Actors

Coming from small-town Chiaroscuro to big city Bombay, conman and compulsive liar, Raj Malhotra (Govinda), a lawyer by profession, sets up shop with fellow lawyer, Mohan. He falls in love with Sonam (Sushmita Sen), daughter of a wealthy lawyer Tejpal. He devises a scheme to marry into this wealthy family, and he succeeds. Years later, he has a son, who wishes that his dad would stop lying; and a mistress, Tara. The son's wish comes true, and all utterances from Raj's mouth are truthful. This creates a crisis in his personal life, as he confesses about his mistress; as well as his professional life, when he starts telling the truth in court, especially with his underworld clients, who are now out to kill him.

Shyamsunder (Govinda) is a naive villager who has a great interest in music. He travels to the city, making friends with Muthuswami (Satish Kaushik), a South Indian tabla player. The president of the TIPS cassette company, Khurana (Kader Khan), is impressed with his musical abilities and promotes him to a high position. Jaivir Singh Rathod (Rishi Kapoor) is the chief executive and owner of Telpal Industries, a hugely successful auto firm. Yash is stepping down as CEO, in order to enjoy retirement. He gave the responsibility and authority to run the family business to his son, Rajiv (Vikas Bhalla). When Yash is walking his dogs and crossing at a busy intersection, a car drives through ... nearly running him over. He is irate and berates the woman driver. He calls for a policeman to do something about this menace. This is his first encounter with Sheetal, who was the woman driver. As Sheetal (Dimple Kapadia) drives off with Toshi (Farida Jalal), her sister-in-law, they are both laughing, releasing their tenson at this very close call with the law. She had pointed out to the policeman that it is against the law to walk two dogs at the same time. When they get home, Yash and Sheetal each describe the day's main event to their families. Little do they realize that their paths will cross again .

A woman Neha (Ramya Krishnan) witnesses the murder of a friend of her named Madhu (Divya Dutta) by a notorious smuggler Zorawar (Paresh Rawal) but she skips while being chased by Zorawar's goons and ends up in the secure custody of police inspector Arjun Singh (Amitabh Bachchan), a friend of police inspector Pyare Mohan (Govinda). In reality, Neha, unaware of their identities, believes Arjun to be "Pyare", about whom she was agreeably apprised of by Madhu, and so, Arjun has to impersonate Pyare, giving rise to hilarious situations. Concurrently, Pyare flirts with Seema (Raveena Tandon) - Arjun's sister. Everything could have been passable for the two cops if two lookalikes of the cops, by the nicknames "Bade Miyan" (Amitabh Bachchan) and "Chote Miyan" (Govinda) had not been a cause of concern for them because of the misdeeds they commit leading to Arjun and Pyare being accused as the miscreants everytime. With background scores of the songs (specially "Bade Miyan Toh Bade Miyan") that stir the listeners, the movie advances through scenes of thrill and amusement.
