Sing and Like It is a 1934 American Pre-Code comedy film directed by William A. Seiter from a screenplay by Marion Dix and Laird Doyle, based on the unpublished short story So You Won't Sing, Eh? by Aben Kandel. The film starred ZaSu Pitts, Pert Kelton, and Edward Everett Horton.

Glory Eden is a radio star, the "Purity Girl" of the Ipsy-Wipsy Wash Cloth radio program, whose sponsor, Sam Ipswich, wants her public image to match her radio persona, and has her constantly chaperoned by the press agent, Speed Dennis. Glory's real personality is one of a party girl, who loves going to nightclubs, drinking, dancing and having a good time. During an interview with the columnist Elmerada de Leon, Glory hints that she might not re-sign with Ipsy-Wipsy. She says that she is tired of always being "the good girl", and needs to let down her hair for a while. Frightened of the prospect of losing their star attraction, and in order to placate her, Ipswich and Dennis hatch a publicity scheme to have her romanced by one of her many fans. They select a most unlikely subject, Jim Davey, who hails from the hills of Kentucky. However, when he arrives, the unlikely happens and Glory begins to fall in love with Jim, and when he proposes, she accepts.

Toodie and Budge are identified as the two best children in the world. They enjoy a comfortable life with their parents Tom and Helen Lawrence. Helen's brother is Harry Burton, a wealthy bachelor who, although never having had one, is an expert on knowing how to raise children. When Tom and Helen receive a letter from Harry, in which he announces he will travel to them for a vacation, they see an opportunity to get a break from the kids. Knowing that Harry is an expert on children, they assume that he will appreciate the gesture and leave just after he arrives. Unbeknownst to them, Harry only wrote a book about raising children because his publisher told him to, and actually he isn't fond of children at all. He reluctantly takes the position as the babysitter of his nieces and is escorted by Alice Mayton, the Lawrence's attractive neighbor.
