The film stars Blake Lively, Michiel Huisman, Kathy Baker, Amanda Crew, Harrison Ford, and Ellen Burstyn. The film was theatrically released on April 24, 2015 by Lionsgate. The Age of Adaline has received mixed reviews from critics and it earned $57.7 million on a $25 million budget, although Blake Lively and Harrison Ford's performances received very positive reviews and were cited as some of their best work in recent years. The film was released on DVD on September 8, 2015. Filming began on March 10, 2014 in Vancouver, and continued through May 5.
Synopsis
Adaline Bowman (Blake Lively) is seen purchasing fake IDs at an apartment in San Francisco. Later that day, at work, she opens a film reel and the narrator explains her life, including her death in a car accident when she swerved into a ravine and died in the frigid water. A lightning strike revived her. As her daughter Flemming (Ellen Burstyn) grows older, it becomes apparent that Adaline is not aging. One day she is pulled over by a police officer, who takes away her ID as it says she is in her mid-40s.Actors

The film opens with Caleb Sinclaire sitting in a diner, forlorn and smoking a cigarette. He begins to cry, but composes himself when his younger brother, Peter approaches the table. Peter is an idealistic college student on Thanksgiving break and Caleb is begrudgingly giving him a ride home. At school, Peter has found a new girlfriend, Emma Gainsborough, and Caleb immediately grills him for details, beginning to show a misogynistic attitude. Emma and Peter met each other while Emma was on campus meeting some fraternity boys; while Peter says she’s a good girl and nothing happened, Caleb immediately perceives her as a whore. On the way to get Emma, Caleb reveals that he hasn't slept in a week.

Samson, a Danite Hebrew placed under Nazirite vows from birth by his mother Hazelelponit, is engaged to a Philistine woman named Semadar. At their wedding feast, Samson loses a bet with his wedding guests because of Semadar and attacks thirty Philistines to strip them of their cloaks to pay his betting debt. When his deeds become known, Semadar and her father Tubal are killed; Samson becomes a hunted man and in his fury he begins fighting the Philistines. The Saran of Gaza imposes heavy taxes on the Danites, with the purpose of having Samson betrayed by his own people. The Saran's plan works, and frustrated Danites hand over Samson to the Philistines, much to the joy of Delilah, Semadar's younger sister. Samson is taken by Prince Ahtur, the military governor of the land of Dan, and a regiment of Philistine troops. En route back to Gaza, Ahtur decides to taunt Samson. Samson rips apart his chains and ropes and begins to combat the Philistines, toppling Ahtur's war chariot and using the jawbone of an ass to club the Philistine soldiers to death.
