Nicholas Borelli II is an awkward teen from a boring suburb who is supposed to go to math camp while his parents are away on a business trip. In the early 80s Alice Kinnon (Chloë Sevigny) and Charlotte Pingress (Kate Beckinsale), two young Hampshire College graduates. work in a New York publishing house as poorly paid readers.
