Synopsis
Mitch, the ex-leader of a London firm known as The Guvnors has walked away from his life of violence and more than 20 years later is happily married. He becomes concerned when his son starts to show violent tendencies through his behavior at school. He is challenged by Shanko a local gangster after Shanko learns of the reputation of The Guvnors. Shanko is then humiliated at the hands of another former Guvnor, Mickey. This leads to brutal retaliation and a reuniting of The Guvnors which reignites gangland warfare spanning two generations of families.Actors

Denis Hopkins (Jonny Lee Miller) seems to have the perfect life, a job as a pilot, a beautiful home and wife Valerie (Paloma Baeza) who is expecting their first child. One night, Denis and Valerie's home is broken into by a borderline psychotic thief named Ricky Barnes (Andy Serkis) who shoots and kills Valerie, coldly saying to Denis: 'I'm going to let you live'. Valerie dies while being transported to the hospital, and the baby narrowly survives childbirth, leaving Denis devastated. Barnes is sentenced to twenty years in Sullom Voe Prison, which is on a remote island in the middle of the North Sea. Denis is not satisfied with the sentence, considering Barnes shows no remorse and openly mocks Denis in court.

The movie begins with the UK Hip Hop group "Time Served" getting used to living the high life as rap stars. This all comes crashing down however when one of the their members Too Fine is killed in a drive-by because he owes a drug dealer, Temper, money. On returning to her flat after the murder, Too Fine's sister Hope walks in on the same drug dealer looking for his money. After telling her she has two days left to pay or he is going to kill her family, he rapes her and leaves. While this is happening the other two members of the group, Rage and Finny find out that due to being signed as a three man group, their contract is now void.

Alex masterminds an ambitious plan to steal millions of untraceable cash that is stacked in the underground vaults of the London Exchange Bank, waiting for its last journey, incineration. Lucky, Matty, Terry, Chubby, Norman and Jay make up his unlikely gang of robbers. They initially set-up an airline check-in clerk as their alibi, by checking in to join the thousands of England supporters that are part of a mass exodus to the World Cup Tournament in Germany (2006). Then, instead of passing through to departure lounge, the gang head out to the car park, pile into a van and head for Central London where they spectacularly ram raid London Exchange Bank, blocking any exit for those caught up inside.

This is the story of two lads from Belfast as they stumble their way through the London gay underworld in search of "gainful employment," that is, the offering of sexual favours to older gay men in order to subsidize their respective giros.
