The Huntsman is an upcoming American dark fantasy action-adventure film directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, a prequel/spin-off to the 2012 film Snow White and the Huntsman. The film is based on the characters from the German fairy tale "Snow White" compiled by the Brothers Grimm. The script is written by Frank Darabont, David Koepp, Craig Mazin and Evan Spiliotopoulos. The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain and Nick Frost. Principal photography began on April 6, 2015. The film is scheduled for an April 22, 2016, release.
Synopsis
L'histoire se déroule bien avant les événements de Blanche-Neige et le Chasseur. Les pouvoirs de la Reine Ravenna lui permettent de découvrir que non seulement sa soeur cadette, Freya, dont les pouvoirs ne se sont pas encore développés, entretient une liaison avec un duc nommé Andrew, mais qu'elle est aussi enceinte de lui. Freya donne naissance à une fille et découvre plus tard qu'Andrew a tué leur enfant. Enragée, son coeur, brisé, se glace et elle tue Andrew avec ses pouvoirs qui émergent soudainement — elle a le pouvoir de contrôler la glace.Actors

While admiring a rose blooming in the winter, Queen Eleanor of the Kingdom of Tabor pricks her finger on one of its thorns. Three drops of blood fall onto the snow-covered ground, and she wishes for a daughter as white as the snow, with lips as red as the blood, hair as black as a raven's wings and a heart as strong and defiant as the rose. Queen Eleanor gives birth to her daughter Snow White, but then Queen Eleanor falls ill and dies. The Asgardian Loki encounters the Other, the leader of an extraterrestrial race known as the Chitauri. In exchange for retrieving the Tesseract, a powerful energy source of unknown potential, the Other promises Loki an army with which he can subjugate Earth. Nick Fury, director of the espionage agency S.H.I.E.L.D., and his lieutenant Agent Maria Hill arrive at a remote research facility during an evacuation, where physicist Dr. Erik Selvig is leading a research team experimenting on the Tesseract. Agent Phil Coulson explains that the object has begun radiating an unusual form of energy. The Tesseract suddenly activates and opens a wormhole, allowing Loki to reach Earth.
