Knight of the Living Dead is a 2005 Icelandic film about a knight and a Viking who get resurrected and continue their gruesome battle in the year 2005.

It's notable for the memorable characters that have nothing to do with the main story (Guitar Playing Dan, GasMask Man, The Shemale Mexican Mother), the battles between the Knight and Viking and the comedic overtunes to the gruesome death scenes.

It was written and directed by Bjarni Gautur in the summer of 2005, and features appearances by Lloyd Kaufman, Trent Haaga, Justin Channell, Morbid Chid, Zane Crosby, Siggi Jökull & Corey Hawk.

The songs in the movie were composed by Siggi Jökull, but the movie also featured many songs from various independent death metal bands around the world, including Ultra Vomit, Changer and DogHorse.

Tromaville's nuclear reactor has been rebuilt and the Nukamama Corporation that funded it has incorporated a new college, the Tromaville Institute of Technology (T.I.T.), inside the design, as an effort to atone for the events of the first film. Located inside the nuclear plant, is where Professor Holt who has perfected a race of 'Sub-humanoids'; Living beings without emotions, who have been created and programmed to perform menial tasks. This is the story of a New York low-budget film crew, led by their insane and egostical blind film director, Larry Benjamin, who is trying to create a work of art. Among the large poorly paid film crew, the movie centers mostly on production assistant Jennifer, who struggles to do her job while deciding between the two men in her life; the straight-laced boom operator Casey, and the rebellious special effects operator Jerry. The love triangle intensifies as the dead bodies mount with increasingly brutality. At the climax, the entire film crew bands together (both physically and sexually) against the mortal threat in their midst.
