Synopsis
While serving on a Paris jury Andre Morestan (Brian Aherne) persuades his deadlocked peers to vote for the acquittal of Natalie Roguin's (Rita Hayworth), a young woman on trial for the death of a young man she had known. Securing her innocence, Morestan invites her to live and work at his bicycle shop so she can readjust to society. However, he decides to keep her true identity a secret, which soon begins to raise the doubts of his family, especially his son played by a very young Glenn Ford, who soon falls in love with her.Actors

The governor of an unnamed western state, Hubert "Happy" Hopper (Guy Kibbee), has to pick a replacement for recently deceased U.S. Senator Sam Foley.
