HHhH est un film historique français coécrit et réalisé par Cédric Jimenez, sorti en 2017.
Il s'agit de l'adaptation cinématographique du roman du même nom de Laurent Binet, publié en 2010 et qui remporta le prix Goncourt du premier roman (HHhH est le sigle de la phrase allemande « Himmlers Hirn heißt Heydrich », littéralement « le cerveau de Himmler s'appelle Heydrich »).
Synopsis
Au début des années 1930, Reinhard Heydrich, militaire renvoyé de la Reichsmarine, rejoint le nazisme sur la suggestion de sa femme Lina. Il devient alors le bras droit du chef de la SS naissante, Heinrich Himmler. Celui-ci le nomme en 1939 à la tête du RSHA, l'organe principal de police secrète et judiciaire du Reich, dont l'une des sections est la célèbre Gestapo. Principal adjoint de Himmler, il est l’un des hommes les plus puissants du régime. En septembre 1941, Hitler lui donne en complément les attributions de vice-gouverneur de Bohême-Moravie, la partie occupée de la Tchécoslovaquie : pour cela, il a des bureaux à Prague où il règne en maître, car le gouverneur en titre Konstantin von Neurath est vieillissant et malade. Comme Heydrich est resté chef du RSHA, il a aussi pour mission de mener à son terme le plan déjà entamé d’extermination des Juifs d’Europe : la « solution finale de la question juive ».Actors

1970s Marseille is ruled by a brutal drug gang importing morphine from Turkey, transforming it and exporting heroin to New York, called la French. The gang, led by the cold-hearted Gaètan Tany Zampa (Gilles Lellouche), is rounding up its incomes with extortion and robbings. Former Juvenile Court judge Pierre Michel is transferred to organized crime, but finds out that la French's crimes are difficult or impossible to prove and that the police unit investigating heroin trade under Captain Aimé-Blanc has nothing relevant to report.

A joint mission of the American FBI and the Russian MVD leads to the death of the younger brother of an Azerbaijani mobster (David Hayman). In retaliation, the mobster hires an enigmatic assassin known only by the pseudonym "The Jackal" (Bruce Willis) to kill an unseen target. The Jackal demands $70 million for the job, to which the mobster reluctantly agrees. Meanwhile, the MVD capture one of the mafia's henchmen. During interrogation by torture, the henchman reveals the name "Jackal". Exiled from the Soviet Union in 1929, Leon Trotsky travels from Turkey to France to Norway, before arriving in Mexico in January 1937. The film opens with Gene Watson (Johnny Depp), a mild-mannered, widowed accountant arriving with his daughter Lynn at the Union Station in Los Angeles. As Watson makes a pay phone call informing an unidentified person that his train was late, two mysterious strangers in suits, known only as Mr. Smith (Christopher Walken) and Ms. Jones (Roma Maffia), survey the station from a catwalk, discussing a yet-to-be-elaborated scheme. Noticing Watson retaliate against a skater who was harassing his daughter, Smith and Jones set their sights on him and swiftly approach the pair. Showing a badge, the two strangers convince Watson that they are police officers and whisk both father and daughter into a van without justification. Once in the vehicle, Watson begins to notice things are not right and gets nervous, but Smith subsequently pistol whips him in the leg to get his attention. Smith then informs Watson that they will kill his daughter by 1:30 p.m. unless he murders a woman depicted in a photograph. He soon learns that the woman is State Governor Eleanor Grant and realizes that killing her would be a suicide mission.

In the Paris suburb of Petit-Clamart on 22 August 1962, an assassination attempt is made on the President of France General Charles de Gaulle by the militant French underground organisation OAS in anger over the French government granting independence to Algeria. As the president's motorcade passes, de Gaulle's unarmoured Citroën DS car is raked with machine gun fire, but the entire entourage escapes without injury. Within six months, OAS leader Jean Bastien-Thiry and several other members of the plot are captured and Bastien-Thiry is executed.
