It is based on the novel A Dangerous Game by Friedrich Dürrenmatt. The film was coproduced with France where it was released as La Plus Belle Soirée de ma vie.
Synopsis
Lors d'un court « séjour en Suisse pour affaires », le dottor Rossi (en fait un patron-voyou et escroc italien qui vient déposer des fonds en Suisse) est attiré par une superbe jeune femme à motocyclette sur des routes escarpées en montagne. Sa Maserati tombe en panne. Il rentre dans le château d'un comte âgé, ancien magistrat, pour téléphoner. Le comte propose au docteur Rossi de passer la soirée avec lui et trois amis (deux ex-magistrats et un greffier) et de participer à un jeu de rôle. Le jeu consistera à faire le procès de Rossi, et sa vie sera passée au crible…Actors

Trois segments: dans le premier (Il vittimista) un enseignant est obsédé par l'idée de sa femme le trahit. The Roman businessman Fausto Di Salvio cannot stand more his work and his way of life, sloppy and emotionless.
