In 1976, shortly after the release of Stallone's popular hit Rocky, the film was edited and re-released as Italian Stallion to capitalize on its now-famous star.
Synopsis
The film deals with the sex life of a young New York woman, Kitty (Henrietta Holm), and her boyfriend, Stud (Sylvester Stallone). Stud is brutal and oafish but Kitty is enamored with his sexual performances. They sometimes engage into light sadomasochism, with Stud belt-whipping Kitty. Stud later posts a sign on a bulletin board inviting people to a party. Several people show up at Kitty and Stud's apartment and they engage into group sex, with Stud servicing all the women.Actors

The story begins during a thunderstorm. The house, which is shown in the opening shot, named Prairie Blossom, is very clearly fake which lends itself to comedic value. A caller, Willene Cassidy, pays a visit to the house owner, Mrs. Gert Hammond, who is very drunk. She insists that she make herself presentable before she answers the door. This takes a very long time and she makes a bad job of putting on her makeup. In an effort to get the alcohol out of her system she makes herself vomit by putting her fingers down her throat. Finally, having retrieved her wig from the toilet, where it fell during her vomiting, she is ready to greet her visitor. Willene is shocked at the dishevelled appearance of Mrs. Hammond and insist on giving her a bath. Willene explains that her husband is a very famous country music star, Simon Cassidy, whose music is heard on the radio during the later scene and is terrible. During the course of the bath, Willene unintentionally masturbates Mrs. Hammond. It is also revealed that Mr. Hammond died and that their son "no longer exists".

Three armed assailants mug a woman who turns out to be NYPD Detective Sergeant Deke DaSilva in drag. His partner, Detective Sergeant Matthew Fox, immobilizes two of the suspects as Deke chases the third upstairs to the subway station platform, taunts him, and incapacitates him with a scarf. On the same day in London, terrorist Heymar Reinhardt, alias Wulfgar (Rutger Hauer) bombs a department store. Meanwhile, back in New York City, DaSilva and Fox serve a high-risk warrant in the Bronx. They raid a known drug distribution spot, where they discover corrupt police officers among the dealers. After the arrest, DaSilva meets his estranged wife, Irene, and professes his love for her. Irene initially rebuffs DaSilva's advances but eventually renews their relationship.
