Synopsis

"Manon des sources" est un film français réalisé par Marcel Pagnol et sorti en 1952. Il inspira plus tard au réalisateur un roman en deux parties "L'eau des collines". Le film a deux parties, la deuxième a pour titre "Ugolin" --- Manon decide de se venger du Papet et d'Ugolin, responsables de la mort de son pere et détourne la source qui alimente le village en eau potable. Waltzes from Vienna begins the sound of the fire brigade horn and the clip-clop of horses’ hooves, as the firemen race towards a fire at Ebezeder’s Café. Upstairs from the café, Rasi and Schani are oblivious to the danger, lost in a love duet that concludes with Schani telling Rasi that he has dedicated his newest song to her. At the same time, Schani’s music attracts the attention of the Countess Helga von Stahl, who is shopping in the dressmaker’s store next door. Schani and Rasi’s romantic interlude is interrupted by Leopold, a baker in Rasi’s father's café who is in love with Rasi, as he awkwardly climbs up the ladder to save her. Schani and Leopold argue over who will save Rasi from the fire, but Leopold eventually wins and hauls Rasi over his shoulder and down the ladder, causing her to lose her skirt on the way. Rasi races to the dressmaker’s shop to get away from the laughter of the onlookers. Schani retrieves Rasi’s skirt and then stumbles into the dressmaker’s in search of Rasi, where he meets the Countess. When the Countess learns that Schani is an aspiring musician, she proposes that he set some of her verses to music. As the Countess offers Schani her card, Rasi enters the room and becomes immediately suspicious of the Countess’s intentions.

Elmer est en train de poursuivre Bugs, lorsque le lapin se réfugie sur une scène de théâtre où l'on joue Le Barbier de Séville. Elmer a la très grande surprise de se retrouver devant le public lorsque le rideau se lève et que le maître d'orchestre commence à jouer. Bugs arrive déguisé en barbier et entraîne Elmer dans son salon de coiffure. Il étale nonchalamment sur le visage du chasseur un mélange de crème à raser et de bière, puis hache Elmer avec un rasoir. Ce dernier revient, mais armé cette fois. Bugs (alors déguisé en femme) noue le canon du fusil et découpe les bretelles d'Elmer, qui se retrouve en caleçon devant le public. Il tente de tirer mais se retrouve dans le siège à cause du nœud. Bugs étale de la lotion capillaire, masse le crâne d'Elmer, transforme finalement le crâne en un gâteau de mousse, de légumes et de fruits. Le chasseur est alors poursuivi par le rasoir électrique, « charmé » comme un serpent par la flûte de Bugs, avant de se faire assommer avec le siège télescopique en voulant chasser Bugs. Profitant de cette occasion, Bugs cire le crâne d'Elmer, découpe ses chaussures avec un coupe-ongle, manucure ses ongles puis les peint en rouge. Il rase Elmer avec une mini tondeuse (après lui avoir préalablement aspergé le visage de lotion capillaire), lui met un masque d'argile, burine ce dernier, abuse de quantité de lotion et ajoute de l'engrais qui transforme le crâne chauve d'Elmer en un bouquet de fleurs. S'ensuit une surenchère d'échanges armés entre Bugs et lui (haches, fusils, canons).

The story begins in 1823 as the elderly Antonio Salieri (F. Murray Abraham) attempts suicide by slitting his throat while loudly begging forgiveness for having killed Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Tom Hulce) in 1791. Placed in a lunatic asylum for the act, Salieri is visited by Father Vogler (Richard Frank), a young priest who seeks to hear his confession. Salieri is sullen and uninterested but eventually warms to the priest and launches into a long "confession" about his relationship with Mozart.
