Synopsis
Chow Si-pak (Shing Fui-On), Dried Pork (Wong Jing), Lo Ka-ying (Lawrence Cheng and Yo (Sam Christopher Chan) are cousins who are unemployed. Later, they get jobs at Ken Lau's (Stanley Fung) car garage. Lau's rival, Bluffer Wong (James Wong), has a competing business that employs young girls as the mechanics. The girls are spectacularly attractive, and include Wong's sister in-law, Man, (Sharla Cheung) and his three daughters Ching (Chingmy Yau), Man-man (Vivian Chow and Tak (Wanda Yung), meaning the boys are primed to chase them all over Hong Kong. But they lack the skills to woo the ladies, so they call the Love Doctor, Ken's nephew Lau Pei (Andy Lau), who teaches them the unbeatable "13 Ways to Seduce a Woman".Actors

Fred (Chow Yun-fat), foul-mouthed, together with his two close buddies, Silver (Eric Tsang) and Tony (Natalis Chan), are working in a garage. Their boss, Ken (Stanley Fung), is harsh and dingy. However, a warm and close friendship has been established among the four. In order to recover the heartbreak of Fred, Ken suggested a tour to Penang to cheer up Fred. Lung Ka Chun is a business tycoon in charge of the Lung's Enterprise who is forced into marriage by his mother. In the boardrooms and hallways of the fiercely competitive "Lok's Toy Company", where employees vie for the top management position while trading verbal barbs and romantic overtures. In the year 2043, an evil crime lord (The General/M. Bison) is trying to take over the world. He was arrested and was sentenced to jail by the Judge. The General's minions, Kent (Ken), Thai King (Sagat), and Toyota (E. Honda) travel to the year 1993 to kill the Judge before he has a chance to get into office. Hung Hei-kwun arrives in his village after a raid by government soldiers, only to find his whole village destroyed. Hung Hei-kwun quickly finds his infant son and gives him a choice between death and joining him in the rebellion. Upon leaving his village he encounters Ma Ling-yee, who is also supposed to be involved in the rebellion; he learns that Ling-yee had betrayed him and their village for the bounty on Hei-kwun's head. After an epic battle, the film skips ahead several years and arrives with Hung Hei-kwun and his now-skilled son making their way through China in order to find money for food. At this time, the film introduces "Red Bean", who is in the process of swindling a very rich man, Ma Kai-sin, out of his money. Kwun tries to leave his son in the care of his brother but is betrayed, forcing him to kill his brother. The rich man, witnessing the carnage done by Kwun, hires Hung Hei-Kwun as a bodyguard. Initially he wants Kwun to help him bully and steal from others; Kwun refuses the offer but decides to be his bodyguard instead because he and Man Ting, his son, ran out of money.

Wah Dee (Andy Lau) est un punk vivant dans le quartier de Mong Kok avec sa mère Fei (Deannie Yip). Il travaille comme coursier à moto et vend des CD piratés. Il s'est récemment fait largué par sa petite amie. Il rencontre Ice Pok (Michelle Reis), une riche héritière originaire de Shanghai, qui a suivi son père lors d’un voyage d’affaires à Hong Kong, où elle recherche sa mère qui a divorcé de son père pendant son enfance. Le père de Ice, Po Ting-kwok (Yu Rongguang), appelle la police lorsque sa fille est portée disparue et soupçonne Wah d'avoir envoyé des personnes pour enquêter. Par la suite, Ice est enlevée par des ravisseurs et Wah la sauve tout seul avant de faire don de la moitié de son foie pour son opération. Ice retourne à Shanghai après sa rééducation malgré le fait qu'elle soit tombée amoureuse de Wah. Le jour de son anniversaire, son père organise une fête pour elle et lui présente un « prince charmant » qui se révèle être Wah, habillé élégamment pour une fois.
