The film is about a woman who awakes one night to find her fiance in bed with her best friend. The woman is murdered in the ensuing struggle. Seventeen months later her spirit still inhabits the house and unleashes her wrath on the unfaithful new tenants of the house.
The movie first premiered in a PG-13 version on October 31, 2005 followed by a release of the un-rated DVD exclusively online at http://www.thefishbowl.
Synopsis
Raina (Schneider) tells her best friend, Nichola, that she and her fiance Matt (Guiney) have been arguing. Nichola — who happens to be living in a room of the couple's beach house — assures her that it's merely "pre-wedding jitters," and voices a recurring line: "Your happily ever after is just around the corner."Actors

The film consists of three stories. The first is about a girl who calling a radio station for advice and comfort after her boyfriend died in a tragic incident. One of the DJs insensitively suggests that she should commit suicide to join her boyfriend. She heeds his suggestion and the DJ feels guilty when her ghost returns to haunt him. The second story is about a group of friends on a sea voyage who encounter strange events after they rescue a mysterious woman from a boat wreckage. The third story is about another DJ who quits his job after the untimely deaths of his colleagues. He becomes a street racer and stumbles upon a sinister spirit on the road.

Cyrus Norman was a millionaire who lived in the Louisiana bayous with his mistress Miss Lu (Gale Sondergaard). Norman died ten years previous, and now an American Indian man (George Regas) paddles the executor of Norman's estate, Mr. Crosby (George Zucco), through alligator-infested waters to Norman's isolated mansion, where his will is to be read at midnight. In a decaying mansion overlooking the Hudson River, millionaire Cyrus West approaches death. His greedy family descends upon him like "cats around a canary", causing him to become insane. West orders that his last will and testament remain locked in a safe and go unread until the 20th anniversary of his death. Kylie, a troubled young woman, attempts to steal the safe from an ATM. Trapped in Hell, murderous prom queen Mary Lou Maloney (Courtney Taylor), who burned to death in 1957, manages to escape her chains by severing them with a nail file. In Coolsville, Ohio, four teenagers are involved in a fight on the school bus and are sent to detention. Norville "Shaggy" Rogers is a clumsy, geeky outcast, who tried to smuggle his dog Scooby-Doo onto the bus; Fred Jones is quarterback of the football team; Velma Dinkley is a science nerd; and Daphne Blake is in the drama club. They bond somewhat over a shared interest in mysteries, but quickly get on each other's nerves. While in the library for detention, two ghosts appear and chase them to the gym where a pep rally is going on. A third ghost, The Specter appears, causing the lights in the building to flicker. He starts telling everyone to leave. The stamp-collecting Principal Deedle decides to close the school, but Vice Principal Grimes deems it a prank and suspends the quartet.
