Lance James Henriksen (born May 5, 1940) is an American actor and artist best known to film and television audiences for his frequent collaboration with James Cameron as well as his roles in science fiction, action, and horror films such as Bishop and the Weyland family members in the Alien film franchise, and on television shows such as Millennium. Henriksen is also a voice actor, notably having voiced Kerchak the gorilla in Disney's Tarzan.

Biography
Fils d'un marin norvégien, Lance Henriksen passe son enfance à Bornéo, aux îles Fidji et en Malaisie. Cette jeunesse aventureuse lui rend vite intolérables les contraintes d'une scolarité traditionnelle. Renvoyé de plusieurs lycées, il part sur les routes à l'âge de douze ans et, après une adolescence mouvementée, intègre l'Actors Studio. Il obtient son premier rôle dans la reprise Off-Broadway de Three Plays of the Sea d'Eugene O'Neill et enchaîne au milieu des années 1970 deux apparitions sous la direction de Sidney Lumet dans Un après-midi de chien (1975) et Network (1976). Harold (Matthew Carey) is a down-on-his-luck documentary filmmaker that has been given the opportunity to shadow his former college friends, ghost hunters for the popular television show named S.P.I.T.. Intending to use any footage he shoots as a documentary, Harold is disappointed when Tim (Matt Doherty) reveals that a good chunk of the evidence collected during each investigation was planted there by their props director Bill (Lance Henriksen). In fact, everything that is seen in their show is the result of very careful planning and editing designed to get the maximum amount of entertainment per episode.
