Add to a movie listThe Wandering Earth (sinogramme simplifié : 流浪地球 ; pinyin : Liúlàng Dìqiú, litt. « Terre errante » ou « Terre vagabonde ») est un film de science-fiction chinois réalisé par Frant Gwo en 2019. Il s’agit de l'adaptation de la nouvelle Terre errante de Liu Cixin (récipiendaire du prix Hugo du meilleur roman), publiée en 2000, ainsi que de la première superproduction chinoise de science-fiction, avant Warriors of Future (Hong Kong) qui sort la même année, et de la première à avoir des ambitions internationales. C'est également la première fois que la censure chinoise accepte qu'un film chinois mette en scène la destruction de Pékin et de Shanghai.
Produit par le China Film Group Corporation, il sort au cinéma en Chine le 5 février 2019. Avec Wu Jing (Wolf Warrior 2) en tête d'affiche, il est premier du box-office chinois de 2019 lors de sa première semaine d'exploitation, bénéficiant cependant de l'absence de concurrence de films étrangers, interdits en Chine durant le Nouvel An. Il devient le deuxième film ayant rapporté le plus en Chine de tous les temps avec des recettes de l'ordre de 630 millions d'euros dont 620 millions ayant été générés en Chine. Sur le plan mondial, il est le troisième film ayant rapporté le plus de l'année 2019 derrière les deux productions Disney que sont Avengers: Endgame et Captain Marvel. Par la suite, Netflix rachète les droits du film et le 30 avril 2019, il est diffusé sur sa plateforme à travers le monde.
Synopsis
Dans un futur proche, le Soleil vieillit et est sur le point de se transformer en géante rouge, poussant le Gouvernement de la Terre Unie à fusionner en un gouvernement mondial et à lancer un projet visant à sortir la Terre du système solaire et se rendre au système Alpha Centauri, afin de préserver l'humanité. D'énormes propulseurs fonctionnant sur l'énergie de fusion sont construits sur toute la planète pour la déplacer. La population humaine baisse sérieusement en raison des marées catastrophiques qui se produisent après l'arrêt de la rotation de la Terre avec l'allumage des propulseurs, puis plus tard, lorsque la planète s'éloigne du soleil, une grande partie de la surface gèle en raison de la baisse des températures, forçant les humains à vivre dans de vastes villes souterraines construites à proximité des propulseurs.Actors

After a global-scale nuclear war, the majority of earth's surface has become a wasteland, with most of the world's survivors fighting over the few uncontaminated food and water supplies. Kenshiro, the master of the deadly martial art Hokuto Shinken, is traveling with his fiancee Yuria (Julia in English version) when they are confronted by Ken's former friend Shin of the Nanto Seiken. After defeating Ken in combat, Shin engraves seven wounds on Ken's chest and leaves him for dead, taking Yuria with him. Ken's eldest brother Raoh, having witnessed the fight without intervening, returns to his dojo and challenges his Master Ryuken's decision to choose Ken as his successor over him. Raoh kills Ryuken and proclaims he will become the ruler of the new world.

In 2027, after 18 years of global human infertility, civilization is on the brink of collapse as humanity faces extinction. The United Kingdom, the only stable nation with a functioning government, is deluged by asylum seekers fleeing the chaos and war which have taken hold around the world. In response, Britain has become a militarized police state as British government forces round up and detain immigrants. The Day follows a group of five survivors in a post-apocalyptic world as they travel through a bleak environment in an attempt to find food, shelter, and a safe place to stop running from tribes of savage cannibals that roam the country-side. They hope to plant several jars of seeds that they either stole or found during their journey. Several hundred years into the future, mankind has been relegated to the position of a minority species being replaced by a clone-race called "Homo technis" or "Konstrukts" which is itself being supplanted by the genetically engineered race "Homo superior". Deux ans après avoir affronté les humains et Koba, César et les singes vivent reculés dans une forêt. Leur avant-poste est alors attaqué par une unité militaire pratiquement annihilée dans l'assaut et qui subit une défaite totale, rapportée par radio à leur commandant le colonel McCullough. Selon les dires d'un survivant fait prisonnier et présenté à César, cet homme sanguinaire cherche à tout prix à retrouver César pour installer la domination des hommes sur les primates : bien que ça ne fasse pas l'unanimité, César choisit d'épargner les soldats survivants et de les lui renvoyer avec un message de laisser tomber afin de clarifier les circonstances ayant amené cette situation et prévenir une montée vaine des conflits. Plus tard alors qu'ils s'occupent de leurs morts et blessés, César vient accueillir son fils aîné Yeux-Bleus et Rocket, qui reviennent d'une expédition prolongée et ont apparemment enfin trouvé la terre promise des singes, à des mois de marche de là. Le soir même, après des discussions houleuses sur la suite des événements et la crainte exprimée par Winter, un gorille albinos, la décision est prise de s'y rendre. Mais après l'échec de ses soldats, le colonel McCullough se déplace en personne avec un commando dans le refuge de César afin de le tuer. Il tue le fils aîné de César par méprise ainsi que sa compagne, Cornelia, épargnant sans le savoir leur enfant cadet, Cornelius qui s'était caché. César qui arrive juste avant son départ et constate leur mort, tente de se venger pour son acte mais échoue de peu. Tandis que la colonie a débuté son trajet vers leur futur foyer, César confie alors Cornelius à Lake, la compagne de feu son fils aîné, puis quitte les siens à leur grande surprise pour se lancer seul à la poursuite de McCullough, assoiffé de vengeance. Il est toutefois vite rattrapé et épaulé par ses plus proches amis l’orang-outan Maurice, le chimpanzé Rocket (dont le fils Ash, meilleur ami de Yeux-Bleus, fut également tué, par Koba en son temps) et le gorille Luca.

Fifteen years after defeating Lord Humungus, Max Rockatansky crosses the Australian desert in a camel-drawn wagon when he is attacked by a pilot named Jedediah and his son in a Transavia PL-12 Airtruk, stealing his wagon and belongings. In a post-drought apocalypse US, people kill for water. Ernest Holm lives with his son Jerome and daughter Mary in their small townhouse and field. His wife has been involved in an accident earlier and is now permanently hospitalized in a facility where she can walk while wired to a special frame. While everyone else has left the area, Ernest and his family remain, as Ernest believes that the land will grow once more if only there is irrigation. Ernest gets water for his family by delivering supplies to the "water men" who extract water from deep wells through a government deal. When his mule breaks its legs and he has to kill it, Ernest goes to Sam Lever's auction house and buys a robotic carrier machine called Simulit Shadow ("Sim") to replace it, beating the offers of Flem Lever, Sam's son, a young, troubled man who has been seeing Mary without Ernest's consent.
