Touched by Love (also called To Elvis, with Love) is a 1980 drama film about a therapist who tries a novel approach with a girl afflicted with cerebral palsy; she has her charge become a pen pal with the girl's favorite singer, Elvis Presley. The film was based on the real-life reminiscences of Lena Canada.
Deborah Raffin was nominated for both a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Motion Picture Drama and a Razzie for Worst Actress for her performance.
The film also received a second Razzie nomination - Hesper Anderson for the worst screenplay.

Dance of the Dwarfs follows the story of Dr. Evelyn Howard (Raffin), who hires Harry Bediker (Fonda), a drunken, down on his luck helicopter pilot to fly her into the jungle to find a fellow archaeologist studying a lost tribe of pygmies. On the way, their oil line is shot by bandits, forcing them to land to look for fuel. They find Luis, who along with his wife Maria runs a fortress-like fuel station (to protect him from bandits) in the jungle.

James Robert "Radio" Kennedy, a 18-year-old man with mental disabilities, pushes a shopping cart along the streets daily. He is attracted to a high school football team and often passes by their practices. One day, a football flies outside the field and lands near Radio. Radio takes the ball, deaf to the demands to return it by a student athlete on the other side of the fence. Sometime later, the team members tie up Radio and lock him inside the gear shed. The team's coach, Harold Jones, hears the team members throw balls at the shed and goes to comfort Radio. Upon meeting Radio on the streets another day, Coach Jones asks Radio to visit and help at training. Coach Jones returns Radio to his home, where he meets Radio's mother. It is revealed that Radio has a brother named Walter, who does not live with them, and that their father died a few years prior.

The film begins in September 2008 (opening against the backdrop of news of the Islamabad Marriott Hotel bombing) with an elderly Lady Thatcher buying milk unrecognized by other customers and walking back from the shop alone. Over the course of three days, we see her struggle with dementia and with the lack of power that comes with old age, while looking back on defining moments of her personal and professional life, on which she reminisces with her (now-dead) husband, Denis Thatcher, whose death she is unable to fully accept. She is shown as having difficulty distinguishing between the past and present. A theme throughout the film is the personal price that Thatcher has paid for power. Denis is portrayed as somewhat ambivalent about his wife's rise to power, her son Mark lives in South Africa and is shown as having little contact with his mother, and Thatcher's relationship with her daughter Carol is at times strained.

The film opens with Christy Brown, who has cerebral palsy, being taken to a charity event, where he meets his handler, a nurse named Mary Carr. She begins reading his autobiography. Christy could not walk or talk, but still received love and support from his family, especially his mother. One day, while Christy was still a young boy, he is the only person home to see his mother fall down a flight of stairs while in labor. He is able to get the attention of some neighbors, who come to his mother's rescue. His father, who had never really believed in Christy, becomes a supporter when, one day, when he is about ten, Christy uses his left foot (the only part of his body he can fully control) to write the word "mother" on the floor with a piece of yellow chalk.

Engineer Aron Ralston (James Franco) drives to Utah's Canyonlands National Park for a day of canyoneering.
