The film stars Sheridan Smith, Jack O'Connell, Ralph Brown, and Russell Tovey and entails residents of an block of flats targeted by an unseen sniper after witnessing the murder of a teenager. Tower Block was theatrically released in the United Kingdom on 21 September 2012 and was also the closing film at the 2012 FrightFest Film Festival.
Synopsis
Since the Second World War, blocks of flats emerged as places for affordable living, but fell into a breeding ground for crime and violence, leaving re-developers to demolish most of them except Tower Block 31, where only the top floor residents refuse to leave. One night in London, England, the tenants witness the murder of 15-year-old boy, Jimmy (Ralph Laurila). Only one person, Becky (Sheridan Smith), tries to help the boy from his masked attackers, but she is left unconscious. Detective DC Devlin (Steven Cree) and his partners attempt to identity the culprits, but they receive zero leads from all tenants who fear to get involved.Actors

Harry Brown (Michael Caine), an elderly man who was once a decorated senior NCO in the Royal Marines and a veteran of Northern Ireland, currently lives on a London council estate ruled by violent gangs and spends most of his time playing chess in the local pub with his best friend, Len Attwell (David Bradley). Gary Hook, a new recruit to the British Army, takes leave of his much younger brother Darren. Hook's squad of British soldiers is sent to Belfast in 1971 in the early years of The Troubles. London gangster Willie Parker (Terence Stamp) gives evidence against his criminal compatriots in return for a very generous offer from the police. Queen Gorgo of Sparta tells her men about the Battle of Marathon, in which King Darius I of Persia was killed by General Themistocles of Athens 10 years earlier.
