Tumhare Liye (Hindi: तुम्हारे लिये; translation: For Your Sake) is a 1978 Bollywood film directed by Basu Chatterjee. The film stars Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ashok Kumar as leads with music scored by Jaidev.
Synopsis
Gauri (Vidya Sinha) and Prakash (Sanjeev Kumar) are in love and get intimate. Prakash is expected to marry Renuka (Neelam Mehra), as she meets his family's approval; but he chooses Gauri. But after marriage, Gauri starts behaving strangely. She falls ill, and is hospitalized. It is here that the truth surfaces about the past lives of Gauri and Prakash. In their past birth, they were lovers - Gangadhar Upadhyay and Gauri- and Renuka was Kalavati, who loved Gangadhar. During their previous births, too, Gauri had got pregnant, fallen ill, and died because of Kalavati's interference. The child in Gauri's womb did not survive, resulting in Gangadhar's death. In the present birth, the only way Prakash can survive is if someone who loves him sacrifices her life for him. And that person cannot be Gauri, as her death will lead to the death of the child in her womb, and subsequently to Prakash's death. Renuka is now prepared to kill Gauri so she can get Prakash all to herself.Actors

Chhoti Si Baat is a romantic comedy about a painfully shy young man Arun Pradeep (Amol Palekar), who lacks self-confidence and fails to stand up for his convictions, in the process letting all and sundry walk all over him. One fine day he comes across Prabha Narayan (Vidya Sinha) at the bus stop en route to work and it's love at first sight... for Arun that is. Although scores of people migrate to Bombay, from all over India, most do not even have a roof to live under. Some who are lucky manage to find accommodations but pay very high rents, and others who find accommodations refuse to vacate under any circumstances. Two such tenants are Mrs. Laxmi Abhyankar and her employed daughter, Jaya, who live in a flat in Pali Hill area. They had rented this flat from Lucknow-based Kundanlal Choudhury 15 years ago and have been paying him the same amount of Rs.500/- since then. Kundanlal's son, Anil, comes to Bombay to seek employment, and does get employed. His dad wants him to go and live with the Abhyankars, which he does. He falls in love with Jaya and both plan to get married soon. While in Lucknow, Kundanlal misses his son and re-locates to Bombay, and would like the Abhyankars to vacate the flat. Jaya and Laxmi refuse to vacate, and ask Anil to leave, which he does. Now both Anil and his father reside in a small room, and file a complaint in the local court to arrange to evict the Abhyankars, who have also sworn to fight this matter right to the very end. Watch as lawyers take over their respective lives, get their fees, and get adjournment after adjournment - leaving the Abhyankars and the Choudhurys hanging in suspense as to what is going to happen next.

Sports photographer Alok Prakash (Farooq Shaikh) is shooting a female hockey game when he's hit with a stray puck. Prakash is hospitalized but only suffers from minor injuries, though his enterprising brother-in-law, Prem Sagar (Sanjeev Kumar), sees an opportunity to make some easy money. Sagar, a lawyer, asks Prakash to exaggerate his injury so he can file a lawsuit and they can live off the settlement.
