Synopsis
The film starts with Gouthami visiting a village and remembering the past as the film takes us to a flashback. The village would have been a victim to a local don by name Baasha whose atrocities go unchecked even by police. Most of the policemen would either accept bribe or get killed by him. Sathyaraj family relocates to this village. He questions the riots happening in the village and develops enmity with the don. How he saves the village from the ruling don and his boss forms the rest of the story. In the end, Sathyaraj kills Sarathkumar and dies while hosting a flag.Actors

The story opens as Raja's sathyaraj mother requires an major operation to be done. But due to poverty, raja decides to look for an job in ooty. while travelling in train with his mother to ooty, he meets Mr.Devaraj Venniradai Moorthy who is actually an music teacher travelling to island estate - ooty for a 3000 monthly waged job. He carries with him a recommendation letter with contact address. while alighting the suitcases which resembles same of raja and devaraj, interchanges. so mistake raja takes away the suitacase. when reaching their room, he finds the letter and due to the critical situation of his mother, he decides to take the job.

Bhuvana, A lonely girl who is parentless longs for a true love and parental care. Though Bhuvana is a granddaughter of a rich businessman he has no time to spend time with the child. The child wants to travel in the Rickshaw along with other children and she wants to be with Rickshaw Mama (Rickshaw uncle) aka Raja who takes of care of kids with love. The Bhuvana is attempted to kidnap and Raja saves her. Bhuvana is very adamant to go to school in the Rickshaw and her care taker appoints the Bhuvana to drop in and pick up from school. Initially Rickshaw Man wonders why he is appointed for pick-up and drop when the child itself is rich enough but finds the girl is longing for love and affection. He takes care of the Bhuvana with full affection and care and looks after her like a father. Since Bhuvana is under his care the kidnappers are not able to take that girl. Raja brings a woman to his home and the lady is very fond of him and she starts to love him. However she is jealous of the child and Raja's affection and she wanted him solely for her. She drives away the child by saying that Raja will love and take care of his own kid only rather the her. This drives the Bhuvana crazy and she runs away eventually meets with accident. Bhuvana is admitted in the hospital and her grand father comes to visit the child. Rickshaw man finds the truth and rushes to see her in the hospital. The grand father is shocked to see him and asks his men to drive him away and Raja is injured. He also finds the truth that the child is his own daughter.
