Gopinath handled cinematography while V. T. Vijayan was the film's editor. The film, produced by AVM Productions and distributed by Sun Pictures, was launched in February 2009 and the shooting for the film commenced the following month.The film revolves around a youngster who aims to be a cop just like a local police commissioner whom he idolizes, but during the process he is stopped by the evil done to his friends by a local mobster. The film's soundtrack, composed by Vijay Antony,was released in September 2009. This film is dubbed in Hindi as Dangerous Khiladi 3.
Synopsis
Ravi (Vijay) lives in Tuticorin. He aspires to become a policeman like his idol, Encounter Specialist Devaraj IPS (Srihari). After completing his Plus 2, he joins a college in Chennai and also earns a living by driving an auto rickshaw. During the course, he meets Suseela (Anushka Shetty) and falls in love with her instantly. Although Suseela rejects Ravi's advances at first, with the help of her grandmother (Sukumari), Ravi succeeds in winning Suseela's heart.Actors

Shirdi Sai (Nagarjuna) appears in Shirdi at an early age and disappears. He goes to the Himalayas and returns to Shirdi after a gap of 9 years. He chooses a dilapidated mosque as his abode. Amazed by his presence and miracles, the local people start calling him Sai Baba. He kept helping people around and spreading communal harmony by saying that there is only one God. Venkat Ramakrishnan (Srikanth), Sevarkodi Senthil (Jiiva) and Panchavan Parivendan aka Pari (Vijay) are three first year engineering students who share a room in the hostel of Ideal Engineering College (IEC), Chennai. Venkat studies engineering to pursue his father's wishes over his own wish – to become a wildlife photographer, while Senthil studies engineering to get his family out of poverty. Pari, on the other hand, studies engineering for his simple passion for machines and devices. He believes that one should follow excellence, not success, as success will take care of itself if excellence is followed. However, this approach to studies is sneered upon by the dean of the college, Professor Virumandi "Virus" Santhanam (Sathyaraj). Virus and the faculty favour Pari's classmate, an NRI student Srivatsan aka "Silencer" (Sathyan), who believes in mindless rote learning over understanding to reach his goals of corporate status. Pari constantly spars with Virus and Silencer due to their differences in their educational approaches.
