Victory was a good message oriented movie.

Orphaned when his mother dies of hunger, Babu (Akshay Kumar) is corrupted by Sultan, an ambitious criminal mastermind. He grows up to become "Badshah", a professional criminal working for Sultan. The story starts with Badshah and Abdul robbing a jewellery store and being chased by the police but the police lose track of them. The next day Badshah sees Sapna (Karishma Kapoor) singing and dancing for money. Badshah notices her ripped clothes and gives her money for new clothes and she says that he was the first person to realise that. Inspector Pradhan comes to Badshah and tells him that he knows that Badshah committed the robbery from the previous night. When Badshah and Abdul go to exchange weapons for money with other gangs, the police interrupts. Immediately, Badshah and Abdul run away and a car chase ensues between Inspector Pradhan, and Baadshah and Abdul. In the process, Badshah is shot in the arm and both their vehicles end up falling off a cliff and crashing to the ground. With Inspector Pradhan trapped in his vehicle, which is near exploding, Badshah helps Pradhan get out but Pradhan, whom is resolved to his duty, in his injured state tries to put him under arrest. Badshah knocks Pradhan out but the car explodes injuring Badshah.

Govindan (Manivannan) is a thief who has two children: Aadhi (Pasupathy) and Arivumathi (Vikram). Years go by and the two, Aadhi and Madhi, decide to stop stealing and mend their ways and lead a hardworking life along with their father. They migrate to neighboring village and meet a retired agricultural officer, Chidambaram (Vijayakumar) who is in deep debt and is under pressure from the village's landlord, Kalingarayar (Murali) to clear his debts. In efforts to help Chidambaran, Mathi confronts Seetha Lakshmi (Asin), Kalingarayar's daughter, who comes to collect the money Chidambaram owes her father. Seetha Lakshmi starts to acquire a liking for Mathi but keeps it hidden due to her father's atrocious temper. In an attempt to teach Kalingarayar a lesson, Mathi forcibly ties the mangalsutram around Seetha's neck. Kalingarayar, realizing his daughter's love for Mathi, comes down to arrange a grand remarriage between the two. But things go awry when Manicka Vel (Biju Menon), Seetha Lakshmi's maternal uncle, comes to town in an effort to stop the wedding between the two as he has plans of marrying her and wiping her family fortune.

Long ago, a great drought befell a village. A dancer (Veda Archana Sastry) from a traditional family came forth to dance in the Shiva temple for many days and nights. Prudhvi (Nitin Kumar Reddy) & Shashank (Shashank) are the leaders of two warring students groups in a Hyderabad college. They are fond of rugby union game and they sort the things out between them by playing rugby to prove superiority. One fine day, a local mafia leader Bhikshu Yadav (Pradeep Rawat) gets a court notice that he has purchased the land of college from its legal heirs. The groups of Prudhvi and Sashank unite together by forgetting differences to fight a united cause of winning back the land for college. After getting affected by assaults of students, Bhikshu Yadav throws a challenge to defeat his team in a game of rugby union to win back the land for their college. The rest of the story is all about how Prudhvi leads his team to the victory.
