It is based on the real-life story of Susan Wilson, a Louisiana woman, who was video taped in her own home by a neighbor. Her case helped make video voyeurism a crime in nine U.S. states. Originally, she had no legal recourse as video voyeurism was not considered by those who wrote previous voyeurism legislation.
Synopsis
Susan et Gary Wilson emménagent dans une petite ville de Louisiane avec leurs deux enfants : Emily et Orin. Ils sont très bien accueillis par leur voisin, Steve Glover, qui leur présente sa femme Nancy et leurs deux enfants : Kris et Karey. Steve, diacre et animateur de nombreuses associations, se montre excessivement aimable envers les Wilson, leur trouve une maison et les intègre vite dans la communauté. Susan et Gary s'en félicitent, ils sont certains d'avoir trouvé l'endroit idéal pour leurs enfants. Ils se couchent et font l'amour tendrement, mais... sans se douter qu'une caméra filme leur intimité. Dans les semaines qui suivent, Susan tente de rassurer Emily, adolescente, qui regrette de n'avoir toujours pas d'amis. Mais leur conversation est vite interrompue par l'arrivée inopinée de Steve qui fait fuir Emily.Actors

The movie opens with a boy, Tim (Joshua John Miller) playing on a bridge. He hears a yell, and sees Samson/John (Daniel Roebuck) sitting on the shore. The boy pedals off, and Samson smokes a cigarette by the naked corpse of Jamie (Danyi Deats). Samson leaves in a daze, and Tim spots him at a convenience store. While Samson haggles with the clerk, he steals two beers and leaves them for Samson. Tim asks Samson for dope, and gets in Samson's car. They drive to Feck's place for drugs, but he's not home.
